★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Harold and Pam started our off our weekend golf trip with a blast as with the bad snow on friday morning people cancelled. our 3some was determined to get some swings in and play some holes and Harold came out and let us play the course. Superior hospitalty this course truly is a hidden gem. If you are ever driving through or close by take the time to visit this track the ferns provide a great backdrop and the course provides a lot of tranquility.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I could give 3.5 stars I would. Overall good golf experience, but the course needs some major pruning. Too many times I felt like I was at 18 at augusta trying to feed it through a chute 30 ft wide to the fairway. I get it, mature trees a beautiful, but they get in the way, too often on this course. Holes 5, 7, 9, 10, 12 all have trees that need to go. Greens were in great shape, but extremely slow which made putting difficult. Great value, so I will be back!

Being from Toronto and cottaging in markdale for years makes this my go to course when away.
Plays and look like my home course "pheasant run"
If you love long sweeping fairways and gorgeous century old treelined courses this is a gem!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time at the coarse and it was beautiful but I didn’t enjoy the 5 + minute lecture on cart etiquette prior to tee off. Made me feel as if I was 15 and I had never driven a cart when I’m a 34 year old man who’s golfed half his life. Other than that, fantastic coarse and challenging play.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great golf, for the price. Walking the course is a challenge and a couple of the holes are a few hundred meters from each other. Overall, very fun and exciting course.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A truly excellent and challenging course, especially compared to the other courses up here. The greens were immaculate and there are several tricky and fun holes. Also the views from the club house are stunning. Definitely coming back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yes, this course is very challenging as you don't really know where the fairway and rough begin/end. This course needs a lot of TLC. Absolutely not worth the $85/round with cart. The pictures on their website are only a couple holes which are made for the pictures.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent value. The course makes you play a creative brand of golf. Lots of great elevation changes and tricky shots from tee to green.
I will return to this course 100% and with friends, would make a great place for a match!
