Great place for fishing. Clint and Marie are Great host, very friendly. They have all cabins with WiFi, serviced and clean. Boats are also available for renting at daily, Weekly rates. I stay at their Excecutive Cabin, which is a cute cabin facing the lake so as the other cabins. This place is well organized and free of nuisance. It is a family friendly resort. There are many families that return each summer to enjoy fishing and their hospitality, me too!

Clint and Marie are great hosts. I stayed here 30 nights straight for work in the area, and my stay was great. Great fishing, and a very homey spot right on the lake. Ear falls is a nice little hole in the wall in north western Ontario, but if you're big into fishing and hunting, this is definitely the place for you.

Absolutely amazing! Marie and Clint are incredible. They go above and beyond to make sure you are more than comfortable and feel right at home. They have such a beautiful spot. The fishing is unbelievable with it being right on Lac Seul.

Great place to visit. The fishing was unbeleivable. The staff was wonderful and accommodating. They were so kind!! Cabins were clean and comfortable. Boats were always ready to go and had all the support we needed to get to where we needed to go. Would highly recomend!

Situated on peaceful Lac Seul, hosts are very friendly and always around to say hello and ensure your stay is pleasant. A couple of very friendly resident dogs come to visit occasionally while sitting by our bonfire ☺. We are staying in our trailer which I believe there are a total of 4 sites for campers,the cabins look very well maintained.The people in the cabins are here to fish all day and they said the fishing here is very good. Only a 5 minute drive into Ear Falls for food,supplies and a laundromat. Only a couple restaurants are there,however Red Lake is 70 km north for more options,a Tim's, shopping, etc. We hope to return and stay in one of the cabins next visit.

Clint and Marie make you feel like family, my family has been going here for 30+ years, and even though the owners have changed, the hospitality has not. Clint and Marie have do some great improvements over the past couple years including a great lodge, newer boats, updated cabins, and a great guide service!!!!!

We stayed here during our evacuation experience from the forest fire in the Red Lake area. The owners are top notch amazing. They were very accommodating and made everyone feel comfortable. They also went out of their way to make sure everyone had everything they needed. Thanks for everything! I'd highly recommend this place for anyone looking to fish Lac Seul or just looking to get away to a nice place.

Where to start? First of all, the BEST fishing trip we have ever taken, without a doubt! Two miles from Ear Falls, Ontario with a super sporting goods store (Four Seasons) that has everything you might need, and helpful, friendly staff to assist you. A number of good restaurants, a super Pizza place and grocery and a government liquor store; don't pack more than your poles, basic tackle and high expectations. Golden Eagle is owned by Clint and Marie, who have got this down to a science. You get a good boat, newer 4 cylinder motors, lots of fuel and three dozen minnows a day to keep you going. The cabins are big, nicely appointed and everything works! Although we have boats ourselves, it took about 7 seconds to understand that dragging our boats up and back was not worth the hassle once we saw the well equipped boats Golden Eagle furnishes with their deluxe package. One blown tire, fried bearing or a theft of gear while traveling would have wiped out any reason not to use Clnt and Marie's gear. Clint offers guide serves but also shows guests a number of up-to-the-minute 'hot spots' plus keeps guests informed of any changes in patterns or other issues. The two questions you hear every day at Golden Eagle are "Do you need anything" and "How did you do?" These folks genuinely put the comfort and safety of their guests first on their list. Finally, the fishing was super. It was fantastic (early June, 2017) to the point that we re-booked for next year before we got home. We marked fish coming and going to the locations that were already proven hot spots, but didn't have time to fully explore. According to my Lorance HD 5 (I brought my own along even though the boats come equipped with fish finders), we traveled in a radius of less than 8 miles from camp the entire week. There was a huge area to choose from, but we came to fish, not to run the boat aimlessly. The beauty of this was we were able to watch weather approach and fish safely without needing to bolt for home a hour early. I love Accuweather! I have a request. Please treat these folks like you would treat old friends or rich relatives. Even good hearted people get jaundiced by jerks and drunks with no respect for others or their property and sadly, a few of us turn into turds when we rent a place. This place is a gem, the owners are first class and we need to treat them that way.
