★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 5 stars for quality of work. I dropped off a hideously disfigured, dull chipper blade. They transformed it into a new-looking razor sharp blade.
XUnfortunately they get a 1 from me on price; as my balance owing was, with no exaggeration TWICE what was quoted. Their excuse was that the "guy who gave me the quote must have missed some things". Very pleased with the finished product however I would not have agreed to have the work done initially had I known what I was to be charged. Live and learn, consider yourself warned.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I left my Cutco knife and waited one week to get it back. I was charged $10 and I do not believe they actually had a grinder any where near my knife. I used it weeks later and it would not even cut a avocado - which is why I took it in in the first place. Totally disappointed in this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What an amazing shop. These guys have serious professional equipment to get whatever you need sharpened. I finally got around to collecting all my dull kitchen knives ranging from my tiny little paring knife to my favorite chunky chinese cleaver. My knives were returned shiny and clean and scary sharp and I am one super happy cook. Thanks Laura for all your expertise advice. Great service!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The quality of the work is not in question: it's pretty good, if a little pricey. And don;t expect to get your tools back quickly. A simple band saw weld? Two weeks! Touch up my wood gouges? A week and a half! Quality work is fine, but not if you can't get your stuff back under a week!
