★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This shop is a cheese lover's paradise! I bought a few different cheeses, the local Jensen cheddar from Simcoe is delicious! I can't wait to try the others. I am especially pleased that they had some mozzarella di buffala imported from Campania province in Italy, as I have not had any since visiting family over there 2 years ago. The ladies are very welcoming, kind and patient, customer service here is definitely a priority. They were even so kind as to give me some Spanish salamini as a gift! This place is amazing! You must visit when in Port Dover! 110% highly recommended to anyone who likes cheese!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My favourite place in town! The Cheese Shop is filled with amazing cheese (obviously), but what you don’t know until going in is that the staff is amazing too. Every time I go in to shop, the staff remembers me and I feel like I’m visiting with friends. They give great recommendations, they let you try samples, there is a fantastic assortment of cheese accompaniments, and they always leave you wanting more. Please support this local business! You won’t be disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Dover Cheese Shop is one of the best shops in town. The staff is lovely and their recommendations are worth listening to. The mystery cheese bags are fun, and this new cranberry goat gouda is delicious! Really appreciate all of the safe Covid practices in place too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly staff, great selection of various cheese, olive oils and vinegars. Cheese curds came from Woodstock on Fridays and were expensive ($5 for small and $10 for a large container) but pretty good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you’re in Port Dover you have to check out The Dover Cheese Shop! I have been twice and both times the employees were extremely friendly. Their customer service really makes the experience so pleasant! Also, amazing cheese of course!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Dover Cheese Shop is honestly one of the best businesses I have been to in a very long time.
You will always be greeted warmly right as you enter and the staff is always on the spot to offer assistance.
If the wonderful selection of cheeses is not in your taste they also offer many other items like accessories or alternative snacks that seem to be on a rotation. Every time I visit there are new interesting things on the shelves.
I would even be willing to rate this place 6 stars for an experience I had. I forgot my wallet and the staff offered me to pay with E-transfer as an alternative.
Simply the best.
