My partner and I had the most wonderful experience with Lisa McClain. She attended to all of our apartment related needs throughout our whole stay at The Dale, no matter how unreasonable they were at times. While on hours or off, Lisa McClain will respond to your inquiry within minutes, and provide you the most optimal solution to fit your housing needs. She is extremely kind, professional and personable. She deserves a promotion!

Don't live here if you enjoy having heat in the winter. The building has been under construction since we moved in. Amenities we were promised have not been complete and the pool rules and access randomly changed so we cannot use it in the winter months. Don't even think about having an emergency. The emergency line does not answer and the mail box is full. The staff are largely unresponsive and, at times, rude. We only have a part-time concierge. I have lived in student housing that is more luxurious than this, with slumlords that have been more responsive to concerns. Run away. The faster the better.

My partner and I signed a two-year lease with the Dale back in June 2021 in hopes of staying here until our lease was up in 2023. However with the constant fire alarm issues, bursting waterpipes, and the elevators being out of order, it is not safe for us to continue living at the Dale. We cannot risk living here without access to proper functioning elevators in case of an emergency, there has been multiple times we’ve needed to leave the apartment and the elevators are not working - we live above the 20th floor. There has been a major lack of communication from the team at Brigil as we only hear from them 1 out of every 10 disasters. When we decided to sign a lease at the Dale we took into consideration the fact that it was a brand new building and that it would come with perks that were essential to my partners health and my health which includes a functioning gym, air conditioning in our unit, and of course working elevators. However these perks have come at a cost. The majority of our time living here we haven’t had any access to these amenities!!!!! Multiple times on days where it has been below -20 degrees the heat to our building hasn’t been working, instead cold air comes in through the vents. We are lied to constantly about when the elevators will be working again. The worst part of living here has been the treatment from the staff. One of the women has constantly harassed my partner - despite my partner telling her to stop. This is NOT a luxury building. We are paying for luxury but we have received nothing but TRASH. Signed, A very disappointed and discouraged tenant

Outstanding building in a great location. We are in a two bedroom suite that is well laid out and modern with incredible views. We love the amenities starting with the roof top terrace and piano bar lounge. Art is found everywhere, indoor garden, gym, yoga room and the outdoor third floor terrace heated pool which we used until November! Love walking to the Parkdale Market and shopping local in the community. The building staff and concierge are great and make us feel like we are living in a boutique hotel. Brigil has done an outstanding job with this unique living experience and we are so thrilled to be part of it.

I love living in The Dale. The apartment units are nice and comfortable. The different sitting areas around the building are all beautifully decorated and create a great spot to spend time with friends and family. The building is always clean and the staff are always helpful. There's also a cafe on the ground floor which adds to the luxurious experience. I highly recommend living here!!

I am happy with my experience in the dale, the pool opened today and it have hot water and is very clean. I lived 6 months in one bedroom apartment and now I am moving to a 2 bedrooms in the same building, the process was very smooth, i use the gym that is open 24h/7 and i like to meet with the tenants who are really nice people! The washing machine and dryer are inside the unit, the view is amazing on the 33rd floor. We get free 1.5 GHZ wifi and cable!

Truly do not care about tenants. Elevators never work, flooding has happened yet again this week! No heating, told to not use the water more than once. They never take responsibility, in fact, every emails salutation says this was out of our control. The prices are luxury condo prices and there has not been a rent deduction for all of their mistakes.

The company, Brigil, truly doesn't care about their tenants. I have been injured multiple times in the unit since it was opened during construction and we were moved in too early. Brigil has taken no responsibility or even apologized acknowledging they let tenants move in too early. Almost 2 years later, I'm still trying to resolve issues. The building itself is nice; however, they focus on the aesthetics more than quality. Window screens always fall out, ice comes into the unit, glass balconies breaking on an ongoing basis, sinks fall off, they can't even paint properly. Many tenants in the building have taken the building to the Tenant and Labour Board because we feel trapped, and a mediator has even been implemented to calm tenants down and try to come to a resolution since Brigil failed so bad. The only good thing I can say about this building is Venessa, the property manager, is very kind, respectful, reliable, punctual, and gets things done. She has taken the building into her hands and since then it's made a huge turnaround; however, aside from her, the company is awful. Staff refused to let visitors up even when buzzed in, and sometimes even had to file paperwork! Delivery is not allowed in the building. We have to pick up between the front doors of the building. I got stuck in an elevator for an hour and a half before, no apology, no follow up for care, no update, nothing. Alarms didn't work, no cell service either -- that was scary. I hope the future of The Dale changes since it is a nice building; however, they should have completed EVERYTHING before letting people move in. After all, this is supposed to be "5 star hotel living" and "live unexpectedly". If you're looking to move here, talk to Venessa, she is helpful and can provide information on the past and future of the building. Additionally, Chad has joined the team recently and has been very prompt with repairs and support. The two, Venessa and Chad, are the only reason I am still residing here for now. Aside from them, I can't be bothered. If you move in and have to deal with Roxanne, be mindful. The complaints department. does like to make tenants feel like they're wrong, meanwhile, many have expressed similar frustrations but apparently we're the only one. You WILL wait 14+ days for a follow up email from anyone.
