V	Verified Hotel Guest on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Character building in great location. Room was small but clean and comfortable. Negative: Advertised as a bed and breakfast which was why we chose to stay there. After booking only was an email sent out saying breakfast was no longer being served. This was misleading on the website and made the cost of the room poor value.

Only a couple of drawbacks: There was no parking available in front of the facilities (every street spot taken since the afternoon). And also, when we came back at night there was another guest cooking super strong smelly food, which we were able to smell up in our room, until we fall asleep... This was a bit discouraging, since all the atmosphere we felt up to then was great. Other than that, great place to stay (if you like the 'old house' type of vibe)

J	John Robison on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recent stay with my wife for 2 nights Received a walk around when we arrived explaining breakfast. We had to inform your staff it was canceled. Been nice if it wasn't. Light bulb out in kitchen Dishwasher full of last guests dirty dishes . We washed it and left them inside. Internet went down second night I assume because of the tree so not your fault. The stand up rain shower hot water does not work at all. The side faucet was warm at best. Also please take the time to scrub the corners in the shower floors. To ruin our stay, their was not enough hot water to enjoy a bath in the evening with my wife. Filled slightly with warm water but definitely a huge disappointment. Could have been much better !

We were surprised we did not have enough toilet paper for 2 people to last us until the next morning when we arrived after regular check-in hours. We had empty shower containers, an almost empty pepper mill, and had to walk around the house searching through common spaces to track down dishes, silverware, and glasses for dinner even though we got the "master suite". The staff member we spoke with was very friendly but the language barrier we had prevented adequate communication. We feel that when people pay for a place to stay you shouldn't have had to request basic things during a 2 night stay (which took a while to connect and then switch to texting) or go looking for them yourself without knowing where to go. That being said the castle view from the room was awesome. The room was pretty clean except for a lost sock from a previous guest. The pull out bed is absolutely horrendous-do NOT count on accommodating more than 2 people in that room (or watching tv at bed time as it is only located in the living room). Very cool old building. But very thin walls as well to be mindful of. Overall a neat experience but definitely wouldn't pay to stay there again.
Q	Q L on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Price is higher than its value. We love its unique features, convenient location, free parking, self-serve kitchen and free laundry. However, no breakfasts are served in the mornings anymore, and staff isn’t on site 90% of the time we need them (most guests need service at nights when we return from activities but that’s when staff are off). Parking is hard to find and we got lucky to find spots that weren’t so far away but close spots are so limited. There’s no tv in the room which was kinda of a bummer. Shoes are required to be taken off as soon as we enter the house so luckily I have my own slippers otherwise I’ll have to wear the ones provided by them. I like the design of the house and the room and the castle view is pretty neat. But with the value of the stay, I may not come back again for the high price I pay.
J	Jenn B on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cutest bed and breakfast I've been in so far. The rooms are at a decent size with a very comfortable king-sized bed that allowed a good night's sleep. The bathroom is also very modern and clean, big enough for 2 people to move around in. There's free hot chocolate, coffee, tea, and some snacks if you feel like having one in the main living room. Not to mention it's literally right behind the Craigdarroch Castle so if you want to check it out, you're free to do so at their regular hours. Also, coming back from dinner with a few friends, we had a couple of deers just roaming the streets and the inn's front yard so it was a nice treat as well. Really enjoyed my stay here and will stay here again if given the chance.
