★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am not on a vegan or a gluten-free diet. But the food at cider house did not make me miss meat or gluten. They have a really good menu of flavorful food which includes jackfruit tacos and vegan mac&cheese. The cider and beer selection guarantees a good beverage experience. Giving a 4/5 as the portion size was less than what I expected for the price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place has great cider but I also didn’t even realize the first time I went there, that I believe the food is possibly all or mainly vegan or vegetarian (they certainly have a large selection), which was amazing news for me because it’s always nice to be included in eating appetizers that meat eaters will also enjoy! I think that and many other reasons make this is a pretty great first date spot!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our first stop when we’re in Kitsilano! Vegetarian menu that meat lovers will enjoy. The variety of ciders are unique and incredibly tasty. Atmosphere is wonderful with their warm, open patio, minutes from the beach. The staff is friendly and inviting. Always a great time to be had!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cute spot right near the beach. Dog friendly patio and the patio has heaters. They offer a good selection of ciders with plenty of unique flavours. We tried the nachos as well and they were *chefs kiss* delicious. Will definitely be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vegetarian ❤ but meaters enjoyed it too! Especially enjoyed the Mushroom "calamari" ?? and "Fish" & chips. Kale & artechoke dip was nice to share, but could do with less salting on the chips. Tried the flight of ciders, blueberry basil was a personal favourite, but others enjoyed blood orange; strawberry earl grey and mango mint as well.
It is pricey but may be worth it for a special day of great food, location and service.
