β β β β β A wonderful location houses a large family-friendly restaurant, with a wide variety of offerings. Seafood is featured in many forms but beef, lamb, chicken, and salads are also available. This is mid-priced casual fare typical of chain operations that are so popular in Vancouver. Most aim to be adequate, not truly excellent.
After closure of restaurants in Richmond, Horseshoe Bay and English Bay, the Boathouse chain, owned by Texas based Landry's, continues to operate four restaurants in the the lower mainland.

β β β β β Yummy food. Ordered the seafood appetizer platter, which satisfied my craving for fried foods.
Wine pricey, double the cost of what you would pay in a liquor store. Nothing new.
Arrived after sunset so no view.
Service super friendly.

β β β β β My go to restaurant for catching a sunset - GREAT VIEWS.
Classic style and interior. Higher end vibe. There is a large parking lot nearby, so you'll never have to circle around for parking.
Portions could be slightly larger, but food has never disappointed!

β β β β β Until last night I was always under the opinion that you could find a restaurant with good food or a good view but not both.
That changed last night when visiting the Boathouse at Kits Beach! We stopped in last evenining for Mother's Day supper and the food was great and the view spectacular! I had the baked Salmon with roasted potatoes which were tasty and well prepared. We also had a calamari appetizer and a fresh greens salad. Definitely a new fave for me in Vancouver!

β β β β β The view was not bad considering the restaurant was beside the beach. However, I found it hard to find the specific parking lot for the restaurant, as there was no clear signage to follow. Food was decent. I ordered the coconut cod and the seafood chowder and I thought it was pretty good. My friend got the seafood pasta and had mentioned that it didnβt taste the best. Dessert was huge!

β β β β β The view was excellent. Service was great! They accommodated us when we asked for a table a little away from others, as we had two older people with us with health concerns. The food was pretty good, too! I would return for sure.
