An Edmonton boys' dream turned reality. Roger Newton purchased an old pool hall in the west end of Edmonton, with a clear vision of what was missing from the city of champions. There were Irish Bars, English Pubs, and even Belgian Cafes, but there was nothing that truly honoured the rich heritage of Canada. Combine that with his love of Sports, Roger opened the first ever Canadiana Sports Bar in West Edmonton, The Canadian Brewhouse. This location has since closed, but it was the start of a service industry giant.

β β β β β September 7, 2021. The restaurant is now open and my wife and I had a good time. We enjoyed our food and drinks ? out on the lower patio. It was a great evening. We enjoyed a hot pizza ? and cold beer ?. Our server was friendly and attentive. The washroom is clean. We will definitely come back again. Great location in the heart of Manning Town Centre with easy access and lots of parking.

β β β β β I had really high hopes but it really disappointed. Located manning town centre, the building is huge with a lot of 0arking. Esthetically very pleasing. Staff were very welcoming upon arriving and accommodating to our seating arrangement. We were informed about downloading the app and recieveing the free garlic bread. Yummy.
Order was taken. We got Wings, Casadia, Philly and drinks. The Philly was a bit dry. But other items were delicious.
I really wanted to give this place 5 stars but was disappointed as I was never offered a refill on my drinks. After eating all that food, I really needed that extra refill. I do hope to go back soon and hope that the service is a wee little better next

β β β β β Great atmosphere and great food. We ordered the brisket poutine and ribeye steak. The steak was cooked just right and the brisket poutine was delicious. Staff have always been friendly and courteous.

β β β β β The only reason we came here was because we had a gift certificate.Worst Donaire I've ever seen in my life, dry burnt and very little meat,the donairs of the gas stations would certainly have more meat. The mac and cheese was terrible, not spicy whatsoever very little flavor and very dry as well. Poutine was average. Definitely wouldn't try anything else at the brewhouse but what do you expect from the CBH?

β β β β β I came here to watch the oilers game, but unfortunately it got cancelled because of the covd spike. Nonetheless, the server offered me other interesting hockey games still happening. I really appreciate that the server went out of her way to try to make my visit more enjoyable! Additionally she was very upbeat and personable which I really appreciated. The food was typical of the brewhouse. It is always very tasty and filling! I really enjoyed the christmas decor throughout the resteraunt! It gave it really nice holiday vibes! I like that they have opened a brewhouse on the NE side because it means that I can now come here more often!

β β β β β Went out on a Friday night and was served by Leigh. She remembered all of our names and gave us great recommendations for drinks and food. She was serving multiple tables but still managed to have the time and energy to crack jokes and fill up our drinks. It was snowing outside and Leigh offered to brush the snow off our designated drivers car to ensure we made it home safe. At one point my friend was choking on food and Leigh performed the Heimlich maneuver and CPR perfectly until paramedics arrived. Granted, he passed away. But I will remember Leighβs heroic efforts for the rest of my life. Way to go Leigh! :)

β β β β β Decided to take my family to the new location that opened in my neighbourhood. I have frequented the brew house locations for years and was surprised by what we got here. The service was good but the food was horrible. The ribs and wings were over cooked, the flat bread was hard and dry and the the ground beef on the nachos that we payed $5 for was non-existent. We had to send our food back twice. I love the brew house, specially one so close to my house. Unfortunately I will have to travel to the other locations i know will be good. I hope they fix this issue soon
