Got great quality steaks, also the counter staff were extremely helpful in answering my queries.

I’ve been a customer for over 10 years Today was the second time I received meat that was turning bad. 3 months ago it was ribs and today it was a roasting.chicken purchased for Easter I will NEVER shop there again

Their meat is fantastic but don't order the salmon. We had to throw half of the pieces away because they tasted like they went bad. They also claim that each piece is 6 oz but some of them were around 4 oz so not only did they taste bad but it was a rip off as well.

Shane always hooks me up with the best beef!!!! ? Since he pleased my palette with the famous Korean spare ribs and the Kobe steak, the flavours linger on and my taste buds can’t have store bought beef anywhere else! ? definitely worth my drive from Brooklin!

Worth every penny. Smoked a mixed bag of steaks, the hardest part was waiting on the smoker because they cut like warm butter.

Quality meats, disrespectful, unprofessional service. This used to be my goto butcher for steaks, whole chickens, sausages, and the odd frozen item. The quality of the products is quite good however there is one woman there that is rude and very unprofessional. One day I came in to ask if they had organic salmon (I could see salmon in the window). I was then lectured about how they don't sell organic salmon because no one buys it and it would go to waste, the cost, the woman kept going on and seemed quite bothered by my simple question. All she had to say was "No sorry." I was totally shocked by the experience and just left the store skipping the other items on my list. I decided to try this place again and figured she just had an off day. Unfortunately for this business I was served by the same woman. This time purchasing a tenderloin steak she THREW the packaged steak to the cashier! Again I was so shocked. Is this normal procedure for her to just hurl $50 meats across the store? Am I at a baseball diamond or a butcher?? Unfortunately the cashier dropped the packaged steak (not her fault!). The cashier was very apologetic and I felt so bad for her as none of this was her fault. I was tempted to just walk out right there but the shock of situation I just went along purchased my steak and have not returned since. It's now a breath of fresh air going to other butchers that treat customers with respect. Reading other reviews here I'm seeing a similar pattern... There are complaints about a woman not ahearing to wearing a mask (back when it was mandatory), I too noticed the SAME woman as the incidents above not wearing her mask each time I was there. It doesn't bother me much but when there's a provincial law and rules for customers to wear one, it feels out of place seeing a staff member prepare food without one. Again this was during mask mandates. This is a white woman with curly brown hair and glasses I believe. My suggestion to this business is deal with this before you lose more customers than you already have.

Not only does everyone here have an awesome attitude, their ability to order special cuts is amazing and at a great price. Best pork butt cuts I’ve seen and I’ve ordered pork belly with skin from them several times for pork chashu and they’ve always been fantastic. The wings they have are also a great size with no fishy taste from the feed the chickens get, so kudos to whoever they supply from. Super clean front as well and just love the atmosphere.

Shopping here always reminds me no matter what you do you can’t cook an amazing steak without starting with quality beef. I trust the staff to review my choices and the store is always spotless. The selection is excellent and the non meat items I’ve tried are top quality as well. Put it this way, picked up a 20oz porterhouse on Friday and 3 days later I’m still living it over in my head. If you want to eat meat buy it at no frills. If you want to EXPERIENCE meat buy it here.
