J	Janelle Shaw on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don't post reviews and I have nothing to do with this company but I can guarantee one thing other than super beautiful nails that last, your nails will be stronger and healthier after using Bioseaweed for a few months. I don't understand it myself but I have used cnd and blue sky and other uv polishes and I had to stop using them all because of the damage to my nails. Bioseaweed works for me and every person that I have told about this polish. Thank you, thank you thank you.

Unfortunately, to my dismay they had ran out of the nude colours I wanted but also to my surprise, they opened up a store in Scarborough. I was so happy with being able to do my own nails and the selection of colours they had that I made it a point to visit the store. While I didn't live nearby, I really tried my best to work around their hours as they were only open on weekdays. It was absolutely worth the trip as Hellen and her fantastic and helpful staff were so welcoming and friendly. They were very professional and ensured that all questions were answered and concerns were addressed. While I'm no pro at applying nail polish, their Unity (fav) & 3-step products are high quality and relatively easy to use. I get compliments for my nails every time I wear them (EVEN when MY application is not all that great). In my experience, they are beginner-friendly, however they do require some practice as well as trial and error, but the instruction sheets that are provided at the store and the staff are very informative. Thanks again Hellen and the BSG team! Keep up the great work!

This is really the only place in Toronto you can get this wide range of products at really fair prices. My only comment is they could improve their website to guide newbies a bit better. I was lucky to call in and a super intelligent, helpful girl (Stephanie?) spent 30 min on the phone walking me through absolutely everything I needed to know. I did my nails for the first time and may never go back to my nail salon. They’re beautiful. I know my technique will improve, but I am shook by how amazing my first time looks. I bought a haul yesterday, but am going to probably get another round of colors this week because I’m just in love!!

She was helpful, knowledgeable, offered information on promotions for this month and knew all the products I was interested in. The products available at this store is unbelievable. Every colour, shade, shimmer or shine you need is in stock at BSG Scarborough. All accompanying brushes, tools, UV lamps can be found here. I loved my visit to the BSG today, and I will return so I honesty recommend them highly.

On their site they mention that they are aware their colour swatches DO NOT match the colours in the bottles. The return process for these “elite” colour systems like this should be reflective of that. They make you pay for the refund and issue partial returns only, even though their colours are poorly represented. I emailed them about the refund and they responded quickly. But when I asked questions about the refund now my emails are being ignored. Mentioning the poor colour representation on the site is not a solution. This is not a new company. It’s $20/bottle and they can’t fix the problem. Loved the colours that were correct. Will be looking at other gel polish companies instead that are not so obsessed with robbing your money.

I have only used bio seaweed gell for the last 2 years on my nails and they are completely ruined. The Dip powder (no longer being sold AND DON'T BUY IT even tho its on sale) doesn't last more than 2 days and they don't give you any advice on how to fix this. Their nail polish peels in 3-4 days even though its shellac. Also they don't respond to emails to help you troubleshoot. Very disappointing because it was a Canadian brand and advertised as healthy nails. I really wished it was better.

It's too early for me to say whether it lasts as long but if I get a week out of it I will be very happy and I expect the length of my manicures will improve the more I practice. Looking forward to having great nails all the time now. Thank you!
