A	A D on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were pretty excited about this place, so I came with a few coworkers. Maybe we had high standards but the meats just didn’t live up to the expectation - the brisket was OK, the ribs were dry and pretty tasteless, and the jalapeño cheddar sausage was not bad. For sandwiches, I actually liked the brisket sandwich but the pulled pork had so little meat. Given that Adamson’s is not too far, I’d pick Adamson’s over this place every single time.
T	TY on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was pretty excited to try this place out given the high rating on google and my love for BBQ, but this place did not come close to my expectations. The place is located in a small strip plaza with minimal parking, however we came nice and early anticipating it to be pretty busy. The restaurant itself was small, but pretty nice. But that's where all the good ends...below is the breakdown of the food: The reason we came here, the meat: Brisket Sandwich: probably the best out of the bunch, however still underwhelming when compared to other BBQ joints across the GTA. Pulled Pork Sandwich: the meat to bun ratio in this sandwich was terrible. Each bite was a mouthful of bread, with a dash of pork. Not impressed. Brisket (no sandwich): Not bad....but really salty...make sure you have a lot of water and bread ready Pork Ribs: not sure how they did this...but this was the worst pork ribs I've ever had. Not sure how they made pork ribs on a BBQ taste like boiled chicken breast, but they achieved it. Very bland!!! DO NOT ORDER THIS. The Sides: Mac and Cheese: it's mac and cheese, not bad. Coleslaw: not sure who chopped the cabbage, but the pieces were quite large for a slaw. Cheddar biscuit: it's pretty good. This place has a pretty high rating on google, based on my minimal investigative work I'm going to assume there's a lot of fake reviews. A lot of 5 stars from users with only 1 review. I want to give this place a 1 star due to all the potential fake reviews, but I'm going to be honest and give this place the 2 stars it deserves. Disclaimer: I posted pictures....but pictures are deceiving...looks better than it taste.
U	Uday Mohan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When you enter the place you are greeted with the distinct smell of a good smoke. The place is decorated sparsely and with a rustic vibe...Texas style. We ordered a three meat platter and a 2 meat platter, generous severing to fill any person well. The chicken on one of our platters we felt was overly salty, and this might be a result of the dry rub applied. The pork ribs and brisket were on the other hand fantastic and something we would go back to enjoy.

They have a strong selection of meats and sides as well as other convenience foods like burgers, sandwiches and pizzas. We have dined in, ordered takeout and delivery several times and, the food has always been satisfying and delicious. Unfortunately, they do run out of some menu items sometimes but, there’s only so much that they can do about that; and, their sides aren’t necessarily the most memorable. However their Pulled Lamb is probably one of the best things that I’ve ever eaten! Also, their staff is friendly and diligent, and the restaurant is clean and well organized.

The pulled pork was very bland, we tried both BBQ sauces and without it the pork wouldn’t have been edible. The pulled lamb was salty but after the pulled pork it was welcomed. The brisket was the only redeeming factor here, it was quite tasty and tender with great flavour. The chicken was a little plain in comparison. In regards to the sides the kale salad dressing was so salty it was inedible, we ended up throwing out the whole thing. The potato salad was onion heavy and needed either vinegar or more mayo. The coleslaw was okay nothing to write home about. The last thing to mention it was alarming to see the person preparing the meat was not wearing a mask during the lockdown...
F	F. Paiz on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They gave me a sample of the brisket and 1 rib. Awesome place, meat is a bit peppery so be careful, but the taste is wonderful. Smooth texture in the pallet and meat soft and tender. They do weight out the food and they give you just 2 ribs, maybe because I got 1 early on.
