★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a wonderful stay with two friends in Suites A and B. Our rooms were charming and spacious but cozy, and Barry was a wonderful host. Great walkability to the main drag. Hope to be back someday soon!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Barry was a helpful and knowledgeable host, who was able to advise on local restaurants, hikes and sites of interest in the County. The suite was super clean, whilst being both charmingly rustic and high tech. When we arrived, we found fresh tulips on our table and a new carton of milk in our fridge!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We enjoyed our stay in a large, spacious suite. We had a queen size bed and our kids slept on the pull out sofa. The suite had a kitchen which came in handy. The building is a charming, brick Victorian house in a quiet neighbourhood of other Victorian houses. Main Street of Picton is a short walk away where there are restaurants and shops. Barry is a wonderful host who is accommodating and welcoming. We will be back for another visit!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a lovely time here. The suite was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. The host was welcoming, helpful, knowledgeable about the area and gave us great recommendations on where to spend our time. I loved that the location was not right on a main street but close enough to walk to the restaurants, bars and shops. A beautifully kept home with so much charm.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our stay at the 1885 Suites was wonderful! The Guest House was just blocks from the centre of Picton and our Host, Barry, offered numerous great sites to visit in the PEC area. He even took us to a cool out of the way Nano Brewery, “Strange Brew”. Our suite was fully equipped with everything needed, and although we had a full kitchen, we decided to enjoy some of his other recommendations for eating, and weren’t disappointed! The bed was very comfy and a welcome site after a day of winery and brewery touring. Our only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer….will definitely return! ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Barry is the consummate host, and it showed every detail of our stay. A gorgeous room, in a lovely location and a mere two-minute walk away from the centre of Picton. What more could you want? The perfect weekend getaway.

1885 suites is located in a beautiful historic neighbourhood in Picton, steps away from restaurants, galleries etc . Our room was elegant, spacious and clean.Had a great sleep on the comfy bed .Very quiet neighbourhood. Thank you Barry for a wonderful stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The dream get-away location for a romantic weekend away or with friends. The accommodation was perfect, including a great kitchen for home cooked meals, and also ideally situated just a few minutes from Picton center. Barry our host was very responsive to a few last minute questions and very helpful with some suggestions. Can't wait to visit again this Summer.
