★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a beautiful spot. We stopped here and took pictures and had lunch. There is a lovely view of the Sleeping Giant with picnic tables and an information building with bathrooms and water fountains. I was much more moved than I expected to be here, feeling quite emotional at reading the inscriptions on the monument.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A bit of a drive up a windy road. You be given a fantastic monument of Terry Fox. There are lots of trees, and the monument itself. You have a view of the city and the lake and sleeping giant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome rest stop close to Thunder bay with ample spots for parking, sitting & eating tables. And the view looking at Lake superior over highway 1 is amazing. There is also a guest info center that is working at minimum capacity during pandemic.

I highly recommend stopping in if your passing by.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Truly a beautiful monument for the amazing Terry Fox. The park is well maintained and beautiful. Great information and honestly moving monument. Additionally, great views behind Terry of the sleeping giant which makes the entire dedication even more beautiful with the location background.
