★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A wonderful experience literally walking in the path that history was made on. So much to see and a fantastic route to show the kids a bit about our Canadian history. Next door is the Bruce trail fyi and is also quite scenic. Now that the weather is better... give it a go?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an very proud monument. Simply amazing. Especially winter time you can see it from a distance. Its towering above the huge trees. Views are amazing. Just not easy to find a parkng right at the monument.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ideal for picnics and weddings, BBQs in the park as well. Mountain biking or getting some exercises going up the stairs leading up to the monument. Great viewing angle of the lake below. Very picturesque. Parking is also very economical here, about a buck an hour. The place is very popular with cyclists.
