★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed and Vine Ridge for 3 nights in July 2021 and were extremely excited to take our son there. While I will say from the top the staff working there are absolutely fantastic and do a great job with guests. However we soon learned the hard way that when it rains at this resort the entire splash pad area becomes flooded and unusable for a day and a half at a time. So on check in they informed us the pad is closed and working on getting it open for Tuesday.
Well that’s ok right they have a pool. Well for the pool you need to line up promptly at 8am and book 1 30 minute time for you and family to swim and is capped at 10 people at a time per 30 mins. You get 1 swim a day, so that was not great to hear. Tuesday afternoon the pad opened and promptly at 3pm and major storm rolled in. Well wouldn’t you know Wednesday the splash pad was closed again. Not sure when it opened as we had to check out on Thursday and at that time it was still flooded as we drove by longingly looking out the window as we drove out.
Not to worry the flooding is not just with the splash pad, but it floods everywhere in the park and being an older field the ground drainage is extremely poor and the ground stays wet even the next day. So I guess they could advertise that the entire resort is a splash pad perhaps?!
This resort has so much potential with the location, property cleanliness and beautiful cottages. If there was more social events for adults and kids it would have been better and of course maybe a redesign of the splash pad so it doesn’t flood. This is the major attraction and amenity that people book on.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Last week we rented a cottage over there for 3 nights, it was an amazing staying for us as a family of 5, beautiful quiet place, clean and neat, the porch was big enough to have all our meals outside. The staff were wonderful at any time that we needed anything. I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a quit place for adult and fun for kids.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The resort is quiet, very family friendly and pet friendly. The heated pool is so nice, but you are only allowed to use it for 30 minutes:) Zach is super nice!
He looked after our puppy while we were at the pool.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had the Willow cabin, it was huge, and very clean. We really enjoyed our stay. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Loved the basketball, tennis and volleyball court and long chairs near the pools. Loved the ice cream bar at the office. We also used the biked at the front to visit 2 wineries, everything was perfect!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place was beautiful we liked it a lot and so did my kids. We think 3 night minimum is better we stayed for 2 nights. The home was clean and neat, not too far from the splash pad and pool. My guests liked it as well, the only thing we did not like is guests need to leave by 8pm which did not leave us anytime to enjoy a night meal or camp fire with our family guests. Great place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Its our Happy Place. Quiet if you want it to be, fun with some entertainment if you like it to be. Just go with the flow of your expectations. Kind and hardworking staff. Good neighbors.Activities on weekends. In the middle of everything you desire to go. From the falls to the boarder to the wineries to the lake, to entertainment and casino, watch ship go through the locks, ride speedboat, niagara escarpment to the trail, restaurants with sumptuous food, vegetable, fruit picking, stargazing, or just merely watching sunrise and sunset from the cottage while birds chirping.
