★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is really sad that there is only a tiny sign on the side of the highway, with no place to stop or pullover, marking the ACTUAL place Terry Fox ended his historic run. It is bullsh*t they have a huge monument ("scenic lookout") 23 kms away from the actual site his run ended and only a small sign at the actual site.
I had a hard time giving this a star rating, as I love the historical significance of this site and loved seeing it, but I hate that the marker/site is so pathetic. (Common Canada, you are better than this!)
