Tells told us that our 3 year cell phone contract would include unlimited north America picture text/sms and normal text, 1gb of free data and 30 min calling, for 80$ a month. After we got the bill it was; 10 cents a min for data, 25 cents a text to the states and free incoming calling only after 6. We called them to say that the sales person said that was included in our contract, but the person on the phone said that was never the case Recently they said that if we switched to them, they would charge us 30 a month for two business phone line, but after i paid 80$ for 2 months I still owe them 11$, How? I booked them to come in between 10am - 12am 3 times in one week. They kept calling my business at 8am we dont open till 10, My friend also switched, one business phone line and internet, they said it would only be 50, but they actually charged her 80 so my friend went back to shaw. I would stay away from telus, bad service, bad experiences

I don't normally make complaints or reviews but this is one for the ages. The apartment I'm renting had advertised free Telus wifi so I signed my lease thinking that's all there was to it. Now the catch is if you don't meet their credit requirement. I'm a student who has had virtually no time to build good credit so I pay the $150 deposit as requested. Now correct me if I'm wrong but, for $150 it's normal to expect someone within 2-3 days right? Here I am 7 days later with no wifi and my appointment moved to tomorrow with no notice and false accusations of agents calling me. If you're looking for timely service Telus is not the place. Not impressed to say the least.

I've been with Telus for many years. They have improved the customers service greatly from 10 years ago to the point I no longer even dread calling them. They provide one of the most reliable telecommunication services. They do seem to tend to creep your bill up every year much further than they ought to causing me to cut services. I don't like that the Optic TV channels/packages always seem to come and going with no notification of any sort. They could do better on communicating changes to their customers. It was kind of funny that the customer service rep in Guatemala had no idea what a thermostat was. At least those offshore reps stopped repeating your sentences back to you. That was so annoying.

It's no secret that TELUS Customer service, whether it be SMB, Enterprise, or direct to Customer is very poor, and getting worse. You have Managers and Directors that outright ignore their clients now, fail to follow through and do not deliver adequate service levels. Even for Enterprise accounts, you call a 1-800 number to reach someone. They do not know your account, make poor judgement errors, and provide erroneous information due to lack of training. It's sad to see a massive company struggle so much with what used to be core to business; Customer Service.

I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years. They have become so bizarre. Just an FYi to these subscribers. It's not us anymore...maybe ...

Good product. Poor quality agents. They say one thing over the phone but the plan confirmation email shows a different plan. I had to call and hold in queue THREE times to make a simple change to my plan.

My wife and I were having issues with spammers on our cellphones...about 15 times a day. The technical rep at Telus Mobility was excellent! He fixed it right away and no more spam calls! Very pleased.

I honestly have not switched over to another provider because I haven't had time to do so. I don't think it's fair to have a prepaid plan with them. I have lots of reasons for disliking this big organization and it's mostly because they are sketchy with their practices for example your monthly plan has not been topped up because you don't want to give them your credit card but for some reason this month I got no heads up about needing to top up and even with a balance of $10 they still prevented me from using my phone or getting calls or texts until I topped up again. I missed out on important calls because I was too busy to grab a card but if I have a balance my phone should still work. Or I will go to the place and pay $2 to get my phone topped up but I will have to come back 3-4 times until someone finally does it right. I will look to go with another company when I have time to research it. A shame because I used to enjoy Telus for my phone for a long time but they obviously took a dive in the customer service department.
