After many years with TD, I've decided to end my coverage as the cost of insurance is very high in comparison to other providers. The service when I called was pretty disappointing and I spent over an hour with the representative only to deny the quote offered for my new vehicle.

I got into a not at fault accident and TD Insurance adjuster Roy Bhaskar is giving me the hardest time ever and telling me that they have to investigate and not providing me the rental car which is in their agreement.Imagine for getting into not at fault accident and going through this hard time.I can't wait to find out the conclusion and cancel my policy permanently.This is the worst insurance company ever by fooling people to save money but providing zero service in emergency time periods.Literally no one is helpful.I will take it to the court if I have to.

My vehicle was moved without a chance to get my possessions from the vehicle in the TD auto repair. I have not got my ownership that was in the vehicle and I have not heard from anyone in 5 days as to the status of my personal possessions. I think they have lost the vehicle. I have asked for a manager to respond with no results.

We had our main water pipe burst 6 weeks ago from city workers doing work outside, which caused considerable damage to our home. We called TD insurance the next morning to file a claim. I received a call today, 6 weeks later for a follow-up. His smug answer was he was on vacation. There was also apparently a woman who was supposed to contact me. I had sent two emails weeks ago and no reply. I guess the whole department is on vacation. My wife and I will be canceling both our car insurance policies, commercial car insurance policy and home insurance policy. I know that a few thousand dollars isn't much for TD, but I hope another 50,000 customers follow suit and another million read this review. It's great to know that when my family needed you most, you ignored us. Simply disgusting.

I have had nothing but fits with them... and I haven't even had to make a claim. Originally went with them because my step-dad got a good discount with them. Though that is the only good thing! I bought a car 2 years ago and they put it in his name... and did not apply the winter tire discount. I'm now here 2 years later, after listening to them every-time I've called saying the winter tire discount was on (even though not on my paper work) and them telling me the car was in my name just insurance slip was not. Not being able to do ANYTHING on the account because they were wrong it is in his name, and I have no access, my step-dad also as called and asked for me to have access to do what ever I need and they said sure, but nope... still don't!! They asked me to send in proof of ownership... so I did, 2 months ago, and was told they never received it and they want me to send it again. Along with proof of winter tires. They have messed all of this up (I don't have proof of my winter tires, I didn't keep the 2 year old receipt). I am now trying to cancel my policy as I have found somewhere for the same price and none of the hassle. 0/5 would never recommend!!!

I’d give zero stars if I could. They’ve rated me for an at-fault accident where the only cost was them paying York regional police $250 for an accident report that said I was 50-50 in something where a Brinks truck rolled back into me at a stop light, and only stopped at a nearby plaza when I flagged it down! How are you determining fault when you weren’t even at the scene and the other driver didn’t recognize they hit anyone! I had a witness! This was rated against me for 6+ years costing me thousands of dollars. Beyond that, when moving to BC where they don’t even offer auto insurance they charged me a cancellation penalty for a policy that had six weeks left in the term, essentially the full amount left outstanding! You have no inurable interest left, but still gouge loyal customers for being honest with their disclosure? How does that make sense at all. TD sucks, use Aviva or a broker instead.

I've been loyal to them for 17 years… it is shocking... Upon my renewal for 2022 my auto premium has gone up $1,256.00 but no claims what so ever. I called to pin-point the ridiculous price hike and the agent told me this was an error and it will be corrected. This happened twice and no apologies nothing from the insurance company. Possibly one of the worst examples of customer service I experience with the agents. Wish there is an option to give them 0 stars.

Worst insurance help desk ever. I initially called on February 7 2022 and talked to Neeraj. All I needed was an invoice showing how much I was going to pay for 1 Fieldview crescent in Whitby for 2019 and 2020. He said all will be taken care of and the documents will be mailed out. He left it to another department and they never did the work. I called back in on Feb 15 2022 as I had not received anything yet. I explained all over again what I needed. He put me on hold several times and the call dropped once and he phoned me back. The call dropped again and I never got a call back. I gave it a few days as Neeraj had initially told me by the 15th or so. By the 18th I had not received anyhting yet. I called in again and explained it all again, as to what I needed. I was assurred by Harsimrep that she understoood what I wanted and was passing it to aniother group. I also asked to speak to supervisor on duty and got Mrs Macwan from the Markham call center. I also explained to her what was happening and she assured me that I would be taken care of. I received the document in the mail via registered today (Feb 25, 2022) not only was it incomplete, but the address of the insured property was wrong. I called in again this afternoon after receiving this gross mistake. I initially got Karishma and asked her to forward me to Mrs Macwan. I was informed that she was not in and was passed to another supervisor Hilda. I explained my situation to her and she assurred me that I would be taken care of. SHe was on top of it and was sending me a document. SHe even phoned before emailing the document. The document she sent was also incomplete not shpowing all the billing for 2019 and 2020 and had no indication of what it was for other than a policy number. SHe said that she was there till 6 pm and would take care of it and phone me back. I am now waiting for the call and the email.
