If you have an issue and need to talk to a person after hours, good luck. Their automated phone system takes you on a wild goose chase. If you do get a hold of a person chances are they don't know how to help you so they put you back into the automated system again, put on hold for forever or actually hang up (by accident on purpose). Also, it is often hard to understand the people manning the phones because their accents are very heavy. Good luck if you are hard of hearing or learning the English language yourself.

Absolutely worst bank branch I’ve ever experienced. The 2 times I’ve had to enter the west side branch for help I end up having to drive south for better service and they ended helping me out way more than the west branch. If you are looking to save your time trust me, go to the one on mayor magrath.

My girlfriend needed to deposit her shares, when we went in the first time all appeared fine. Then we got a call that Michelle had filed the wrong form, because she didn’t realize they were β€œreal shares” (not sure what she thought they were... Monopoly money maybe?) which was inconvenient but whatever people make mistakes. After going back to the bank to try again we were informed by Teresa that the shares certificate was out of date (that’s not actually a thing, the date she thought was an expiration date was actually just when they were issued). Nonetheless after trying to explain that they were fine her suggestion was to contact the company for help... yea I’ll just call the cfo and say β€œhey my bank tellers incompetent can you help” XD So anyway we brought them to another branch and it went fine and the issues we were told by this branch didn’t seem to exist anymore.

Customer service from one of the advisers was less than desired. I eventually got my affairs dealt with, which I do appreciate but I had to call them multiple times because they were not contacting me as they said they would. Additionally, I would have to go into the branch myself and speak to the staff in order for the adviser to finally contact me after multiple ignored phone calls/left voicemails. Highly recommend dealing with your affairs at a different branch.

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Michael one of the employees messed up bad on a TFSA transaction of mine and Sheldon the "manager" wouldn't fit me I'm to fix the problem. Do not bank here. Worst bank ever.

Stayed with them because they had no problems cashing any of our cheques before with no hold. Now went to get a cashiers cheque cashed and another personal cheque but was told that they had to put a hold on both. Cashiers cheque should have been released but was not and now have to wait for almost a month to have access to the funds. Once this is all over with gonna be closing our account and moving to a new bank.

What should have been said, was not! And too much said of things of no benefit to me. Simply wanted to pay off remaining balance of mortgage with a financial investor there, with 'hopes' of fee being waived. Never once did this man suggest I pay the lump sum to minimize the penalty. There were other noticeable miscommunications & my point is TD employees need to work for the customer, instead they clearly work for the banks benefit. Have bought new place with a broker who clearly had my back.

Poor customer service as of late. Been dealing here for 3 years with no issues. A lot of new staff, one in particular. Heavy set blond, last name ends in "hut". Very rude & has no value of customer service. With all the banking options available, manners should be first & foremost!
