DO NOT WORK WITH SARAH LEVINE, let me tell you my story at Taylor Janis, hired them last year for termination without cause. Got them make a letter and start negotiating with my ex employer, lawyer tell me its my duty to mitigate the loss, ask after a month my lawyer if i should just stay home and wait and was advised i have to show that i tried to mitigate my loss so i started looking and applying for jobs, found one and informed my lawyer i had found a job, was than tood that because i found a job i would no longer be able to bring my employer in court to get payment since i found a job, apparently saying i have to mitigate the loss means in lawyer language if i find i job i cant bring them in court anymore since i have a job.... nice. So pretty annoyed now i have to accept whatever works offer since i lost my leverage with work due to my lawyer not being clear on what i should have done. Now also was 2 month without salary, was asking my lawyer if i should claim ei and she was telling me repeatedly that i would have to reimburse all the ei i would get if i claim ei since i would be receiving a lump sump payment from my ex employer, called ei and check with them and was advised to claim ei, that i woudnt have to reimburse ei, decided to get my claim done against the advise of my lawyer and got 4000$ from ei. Just got my tax for 2021 done and i have received a tax return of 1800$. So if i had listen to my lawyer i would have lost 4k$. And to top she couldn't remember important details about my case like i told her after 1 month of not having received any payments from my employer and was told it would come as a lump sump later than a month later i still tell her i didnt get any payment and she reply that she didnt know that she tought i had already been paid.... even thought i had told her by email, didnt remember apparently... Dont know about everyone working there but she doesn't know important work law that will make you lose money and will not give you good advice.
