★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very friendly owner who is proactive in conversation and describe the meal in a manner like he is going to cook for his family. I like that. As a consequence, the meal is delicious. One advise thought - eat it fresh, while it is hot. Very delicious! This will be choice number one when eating outside of our home. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We love this place. Take out only. The menu is simple but the food is fantastic. We have only been there twice but they treat us like regulars.
They are happy to explain their dishes and we had two other, obviously regular, patrons insist we try their food. Of course - awesome.
Staff/owner extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely be going back and you should too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There aren’t many places that you can find REAL Turkish food in Ottawa. Tava kitchen has the best lahmacun in town! SO flavorful! I can’t wait to see them grow and add more selections into their delicious menu. Very clean place with smiling friendly faces. Highly recommended!

The food (pide and lahmacun) far exceeded my expectations. “The antep dolama” (the one in the photo) was the best dessert I’ve had in years!! The service was also phenomenal. I will definitely be back soon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The lahmacun (turkish meat pie) and dolama (a heavenly pistachio dessert) is top notch quality. You will never find a juicy meat pie with sourdough bread anywhere else in Ottawa. This dessert shows you a glimpse of heaven for a moment. Amazing

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is clean. The guy at the front taking orders is friendly and positive, he was transparent about the source of the meat.
I ordered the wrap with veggie and it tastes really good. And it wasn't pricey at all, I paid less than 15$ for 3 wraps. Definitely I'm visiting again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered an urfa lahmacun (beef & onion) Turkish meat pie today, it was delicious and highly recommend! For takeout they roll it up similar to a wrap, so very convenient. I brought it home and cut the wrap into bite sized pieces to share -- here's a picture of the unrolled pieces. Great flavour, not too strong, not super heavy, and would recommend.

Super fresh and the prices are good! Thanks for some complimentary dessert and drinks. Looking forward to dine in in the future!!
