Best Filipino restaurant in Canada

G	Gevin Baking on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been here twice this week. And the 1st day I went here, I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. Although you have to enter their gloomy sketchy looking grocery store (they sell familiarly good Filipino products and treats) It was a night and day difference in terms of its ambiance. They have reasonably priced ala carte menu and they also have what we call in the Philippines turo - turo style dining. (wherein you have to pin point the dishes that you like) 3 viands for $10 was a steal for their portion sizes. Loved their dinuguan (blood stew), Sinigang (Sour pork stew) and binagoongan (Salted tiny shrimps on pork) The staff when I dine on the first day was Uninviting. ( their aura look and feels like they don't like what they're doing ) 2nd day I ordered their tapsilog and sisilog. tapsilog was too sweet but, tender. sisilog was terrible but, the fried rice was good. Their Morning team was welcoming but, the owner (Filipino guy wearing a honda cap) when I tried to order something again he did completely ignored me while I was in front of him and acknowledged me after a minute.( It was a long akward stand off like Im begging him to serve me food) It was like the sloth scene from Zootopia.
J	Jimmy Air on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered the Adobong Baboy from door dash and in the whole container of pork there was literally ONE piece of pork that had fat/skin on it. The whole reason most people love pork adobo is because of the extra flavor of the fat and this one was just half shredded half regular pork beef. It was like they purposely removed the good part. I HATED IT. They were lucky I was hungry and not rich because I wouldn't have eaten it. ZERO stars
K	Kim Christian J Catubig on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's worth it coming here when I crave for some Silog, prices and servings are decent but could be better if they add more rice. They got THE BEST Leche Flan that I've tasted! Right, thick, and not that sweet, had enough syrup to satisfy me! :D

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful that added to the experience and was the reason for the 5 stars. Food was excellent, cooked well to request, I was pleasantly amazed. Restaurant is extremely clean, well distanced socially and all safe practices and precautions were taken. Very happy and highly recommend for satisfying your Filipino food craving.

They offer “silog” meals for breakfast and also have other dishes ranging from chicken, beef, and pork available as well. The space itself has a small, quaint quality which is coupled with typical Filipino hospitality. Definitely a local gem to check out!

They really like the all day breakfast, and it was the only menu item with descriptions. We have never had Filipino food before, and when we asked what they would recommend the waiter didn’t have an opinion to give us. The food looked great, and the flavours were evident in the sauces. The garlic rice was fluffy but not what we expected (topped with dried garlic bits). They did not offer drinks, but there was communal water (which we did not use due to the pandemic). Would recommend going here for something different than the usual restaurant scene.
