★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tanya was absolutely ah-mazing when we were stuck trying to get an ILA asked by a lender last minute for a closing.
We drove and called around the city literally begging lawyers to help us get one and the attitude we got from everyone was shocking.
Luckily we found Tanya, who saw how anxious we were and understood our situation and made time for us and had the job done the same day!
Was so thankful to have found her and would recommend her and get office any day! Efficient, curteous and wonderful to deal with!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I sent Tanya Carlton a very detailed email laying out all of the assets of my wife and I. She responded with a PDF to input everything I had already laid out in the email, however along with account numbers. Doing that would have taken me several hours at a time of stress while my wife was hospitalized. If I were to fill out her form, I may as well just put that same effort into a DIY will kit and save hundreds, perhaps more than a thousand dollars for two wills.
When I replied my wife is in the hospital and I don't have time to do this right now, asked her for a range of estimates for her fees based on my very detailed email that would compromise 95% of what would ultimately go into her form eventually when I have time. She never replied.
On the other hand, Erin McNamara, who offers mobile services in Barrhaven, took my very same email, reached out to me same day and made a phone appointment with me that lasted 15 minutes for clarifications, then gave me a range of fees estimates. Also, she sounded all around like a decent human being. I recommend her over Ms. Carlton without reservations.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was easy to deal with in our recent real-estate purchase. Quick, efficient yet thorough. Pricing for the services was good and there was no non essential surprise fees added to our final bill. Price we paid was exactly what we were quoted. After purchase help was also excellent as Tanya was able to answer any questions in a timely manner and resolve a few issues at no additional cost after we closed on the home. I would highly recommend her services and would deal with her again.
UPDATE: 5/1/2018
We have since used Tanya again for a refinance on one of our homes and the experience was again flawless and priced fairly. We are presently in the process of closing on the sale of two of our homes as well as the purchase of another. As per usual were very happy with her services and look forward to continuing doing business in the future.

She explained me my situation and what I could expect very professionally and even gave me some tips how to handle my case ( which actually I didn't request but it was extremely helpful) and this first consultation was absolutely free but her advises cost tons of money .
If you need really caring and affordable lawyer you will be in the right place to hire Tanya L. Carlton.
If i could give her 10* I would.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have used Tanya's services to purchase a few houses already and will definitely continue to do so in the future! Her team is extremely professional, efficient, organized, and highly competent. We always receive responses in a timely manner. Due to issues with an incompetent mortgage broker we were forced to reschedule our original appointment multiple times, but Tanya's office was always so incredibly understanding and accommodating.
From a friend's experience I've heard that it is sometimes difficult to get ahold of the lawyer him/herself as you are always going through other staff members that may not know the answers to complicated questions, which my friend found very frustrating--however, this was never the case with Tanya. Her staff is of course very competent and pleasant to deal with, but whenever I had a more complicated issue, I always had the option of contacting Tanya herself directly. She is very knowledgeable and provided great advice regarding our complex situation with fast response times. To top it all off, her fees were very reasonably priced as well.
Overall, I couldn't be happier with her services and would highly recommend her to everyone!
