★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They were helpful to let us know some of the pitfalls with startups in Canada. But quoted us thousands for a dynamic equity and shareholders agreement, but have a policy of never taking dynamic equity themselves. Seems like they don’t have faith in their own product. Seems like if they were really onboard with Mike Moyer's Slicing Pie philosophy, they would take their own medicine and accept (even a token amount) of their fees in dynamic equity from their startup clients.

Christina Lachance and Julia Kinsbury were extremely efficient, knowledgeable and able to explain everything in a way that was easy to understand and clear that they had our best interests in mind. Jeffrey McAvoy was also very good at checking up on us to make sure we were well taken care of. I would highly recommend the entire team.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Took a while for someone to respond and when they did, they could not take me on to help with closing because of staff shortage. This should be up on the website and on their answering machines so that I don’t waste my time waiting!
Based on the response from Conduct Law, it is obvious that they don’t know that I WAS their CLIENT and I chose to go back to them because of my past association with them and the excellent work they did for me earlier. My frustration lies with their inability to respond to phone/ emails in a timely manner

Keen to help us tailor these documents to our taste and requirements, they've been great throughout. We had to engage in the process to understand this not-so-simple subject, but as a result we came away with 10 team members in positive agreement. A great foundation towards our company future!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everybody quit recently so this says a lot about their culture. Seems like an ok office for business owners but horrible at real estate dealings. The main partner is clearly gauging as he is charging a higher legal fee plus first mortgage (fee) and bridge loan (fee) on top of that. If you buy and sell a house through them it can get to 6-7k. They don’t seem to have the capacity to take on the number of clients they have. Do not use this office!
