Tanja has a real way with animals and their people! She's super friendly and thorough whether it's a quick trim or a full body cut. I bring my cat, Emily, to her for regular lion cuts and we're never disappointed!

I'm unable to attest to Tanja's grooming services as when I arrived for the appointment she hadn't booked it. I had phoned on the Tuesday for the following Friday at noon, although she said it might not be until 1pm. As I don't live to far away I phoned her at 11:45 to confirm for noon. She said no no the appointment was for 1pm. Then she called me at 12:15 to say I could come in 15 mins....12:30. I arrived with my dog as arranged and her greeting was "Who are you? I was expecting the cat lady!" I stated my name and my dogs name and what the appointment was for. She hadn't a clue, couldn't find me in her appointment book. She acted like I made it up. Tanja is a very disorganized woman and as this was my first booking with her I won't be returning.

Our dog hates having her nails done. HATES... No one has been able to do a good job - including her vet who regularly charged us $25 for a very poor effort. We took her here this time because Tanya has groomed our cats in the past. Tanya had her done in under 5 minutes and only charged $8. We were so happy with the result we paid her $15. A good job that is still cheap at twice the price!

I took my TOY aussi shepard to a groomers today, I left feeling good about the situation but got a call about 40 minutes later saying that Indy (my dog) had bit Tanja and I should come get him since she won’t be doing more of the grooming. I went and picked him up, there were 3 other dogs there- in a pretty small one room area, one restrained by his neck shaking & whining on a table next to Indy’s, another being bathed by a worker and one being picked up. She told me I could "grab him" and explained that she couldn’t get a muzzle on him and he was panicked and she no longer wanted to work on him after that. I noticed what looked like a couple marks on her hand looked red, no bandaids or anything serious but I understood because he has a traumatic past, paid for what she had done plus tip and some for the trouble and left. A little while later I noticed that Indy’s left eye was completely red, swollen and bloodshot to hell. I texted Tanja and she said that she hadn’t looked at his face long enough to notice an eye injury and he was “an exceptional experience” since she hadn’t sent a dog home before. I wasn’t sure what had happened at the groomers but he did not have this eye when I dropped him off and she had not mentioned anything to me when I picked him up. I immediately called the vet and got him in for it to be looked at and the vet told me something some of it could have easily been caused by some shampoo getting into his eye during washing and irritating it- TONS of blood vessels were burst and that comes from pressure. The restrains that groomers use while working on the animal can cause serious harm when they are panicked and doing sporadic movements they can pop their blood vessels in their eyes from the neck restraints and even strangle themselves. There are always people there to make sure injury doesn’t happen but the pressure build from pulling on their necks can cause bloodshot eyes like Indy’s easily. It was odd to have it only in one eye but I imagine indy swong his head and yanked the neck restraint a little too hard one way or the vet said it was possible he smacked his head on the poles they have to hold the restraints. I understand that this is all groomers and not just Tanja’s groomers but I am very upset with the fact that she did not inform me of any injury or that she kept him that tight when he was pulling so hard to pop an eye full of vessels (there is a very small corner of his eye that is left white). While Indy has this past with my ex being very rough and yelling too much, he still let a stranger vet stick drops into his eyes calmly which does say something to me about the groomers experience since he is a year and a half and never bitten anyone before. I spent $120 at the vet for the visit and the drops prescribed for his eye. I just thought I would share my experience with others

I love taking my Bella to Tanja. She is a pleasure to see everytime with her postive and upbeat attitude and she always makes my Bella look her most beautiful. She is a excellent dog groomer and although my Bella is not always the happiest to have her hair cut, she always makes her feel as comfortable as possible so that Bella is happy when she comes out of there! Thanks Tanja!

We've taken our pomeranian to Tanja for a few years now every couple of months, and he loves his hair cuts there. Good communication if we can drop him early for appt or when we can go and pick him up. He always looks so good after, and we are very pleased with her work! Thanks Tanja!
