From the Black Angus Cattle pastures in the Central Plains to the small poultry farm collective in the Shenandoah Valley to the world’s most advanced raised-in-the-wild salmon farm in the Faroe Islands, we’ve traveled the world to find the best partners for each of our different sourcing needs. For us, we consider these relationships true partnerships. We’re invested in their well-being as they are in ours.
We seek out farming and fishing families that span generations and hold a deep-rooted passion for their craft and a proven history of caring for their animals and their environment.
We work closely with all of our partners to ensure that they meet every one of our exacting standards. Everything we source is certified antibiotic, steroid, and hormone free. All seafood is wild-caught or sustainably raised in the wild. And organic options are available in many of our products including beef, pork, and chicken.
If we don’t feel great about where it comes from, we can’t stand behind it. And neither should you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ went to cut rite meats and got pork shoulder roast cut in to 1/2" steaks and love the meat it was perfect and went back to get more but jimmy was not there and the lady cut my steaks to an inch witch makes them way to big and the next i told here they were to big and when she cut them they were an inch or more thick so i will not go back there cause customer service is a big thing and when i ask for thinner steaks and she cut thicker

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Purchased 5 tenderloins today and BBQ'ed all to medium after letting steaks marinade at room temperature all day. Not quite sure why, but something was odd about them - mildly tough. Again I'm not a steak expert but something was off for being a tenderloin.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wanted to Express my gratitude to Tangos meets. This is the second time buying top sirloin steaks from cross roads market and 2 times my wife and I are extremely impressed. I had a hard time convincing my wife it's worth spending extra money on meat, but after the second set of steaks that are tender and so flavorful, I have her convinced.
Since it's cold out, I sear them in my cast iron skillet the 375 for 10 mins to get them med-rare. Your staff at crossroads market was very knowledgeable and helpful. I also bought a chuck roast I will be slow cooking this weekend.
Thank you for providing quality grass fed AND finished beef in calgary.
