★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While I was working on a photo book based on a trip of a lifetime with my Dad, my hard drive stopped. And of course, I did not back up the pictures. I was referred to Taking IT and Bob called me immediately to walk me through all my options. Communication was constant and timely and I was kept up to date thorough out the process. Bob was able to recover all my data on my hard drive. Furthermore, i had the recovered data and the the new hard drive much faster than I anticipated. Overall, a fantastic experience. Thanks Bob... and the photo book is complete.

Bob and staff have always have gone above and beyond to get whatever storage media picked up, diagnosed and recover lost data (if possible), I have and will continue to refer them! I'm extremely grateful that such a business exists which still has old school values such as integrity, honesty and high moral values for their customers!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I experienced a "what am I going to do". You see, my corporate life for the past 10 years had just fallen out of my hands. My hard drive hit the floor and wouldn't respond. I found Bob at T.I.M.
He understood my quandary and responded by quickly taking my hard drive away with no promises. Yet a commitment to do his very best. How could ask for more?
2 days later I got the results. Able to reconstruct the contents, the directories, everything to make me function again. I hope I never see Bob under these circumstances. But if I do, I know where to go. And for anyone else with the same dilemma of "what am I going to do", the solution falls in the hands of Bob and his T.I.M. team. Kudos guys. I'm whole again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My puppy tripped over the cord of a 10TB hard drive that contained very important information, and sent it crashing to the floor. It wasn't a massive fall, but it was clearly massive enough. The computer didn't register it, and the lights just flickered on and off.
After contacting a couple of sketchy data recovery companies that I found on the internet, I got in touch with Bob at Taking it Mobile...and thank God that I did. He picked my drive up at my house, recovered all of the data within a week, copied the data in duplicate onto two additional drives, and then delivered the new drives back to my house. It was about as seamless as possible, and I now have all of my data back, safe and sound.
Of course that's the most important part, but I also need to just comment on Bob himself. Really stellar guy. In a field full of dishonest actors, he was a real beacon of honesty. He did what he said, and he said what he did. Prices were transparent and up front, he didn't over-promise, and he ultimately got all of my data back. Pretty fantastic combination.
So, long story short: I would absolutely recommend TiM for any data recovery needs, without any reservation. Hopefully you don't need them, but if you do, you can trust them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've used TIM twice now. Once was on a laptop which suddenly died.
The second on an external drive which died. Both times, the service was top-notch. They were able to recover all data from each. They pick up and deliver to me -- saving me a trip. Their turnaround time is excellent. And Bob really does a good job of keeping me informed on the status of the job. There may be other places that are closer (with pick up and deliver, that doesn't matter), but Taking IT Mobile has earned my trust. If I ever need data recovery, they are my first call.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There's a certain sinking feeling one gets when suddenly they lose all their data with no warning. Gut wrenching. See, I write a lot. From school work to heavy philosophy and psychology content, short stories, screen plays... heck, one would think I would back it all up, but I didn't.
My brother (computer wiz) came over, took out the SSD from my Acer Predator Helios 300 which the day before crashed, LED battery lights were not turning on, no warning signs, nada. And so, my brother took out the SSD, found out it wasn't connected to the motherboard which is a good sign... that was until BIOS didn't detect it. He called Bob and his team at Taking IT Mobile.
Within 45 minutes, Bob was at my door to pick up the SSD. Later that day, I got an email with updates saying there was some damage, but that the techs feel there's a good chance at recovery. 2 days later, Bob shows up with all the data recovered. Years of critical work (work that I hope one day could change the world) has been restored. Huge thank you to Avi, the technician, and to Bob and his team.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Only go to Taking IT Mobile for data recovery! Skip the big name stores and hire Bob and his team. This way you are getting folks who are actually specialized in this particular area. They will go to great lengths in diagnosis and recovery! Even if a drive took a dive take your chances with them, you may get your data back! They are also extremely honest about what you may or may not get back. They are way more than 5 stars, they are tech angels!

They were able to recover virtually all the data from a laptop hard drive that crashed unexpectedly recently with some important photos and files that had not yet been backed up. Their service was fast and professional, and was much appreciated! I am so relieved to see photos again that I feared had been lost forever. Hopefully I will not require their services again myself anytime in the near future, but now I know who I can recommend!
