★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I had gone a couple of years ago and we'd decided to fo again for our anniversary and WOW were we impressed! The atmosphere was fantastic to begin with, so friendly and inviting and the time they took to talk with all of thier patrons. Secondly, they've done some redecorating and it looks fantastic inside. From the Luchador masks to the Calacas figurines and sculptures. And then the food... hard to say but it's gotten even better than before! Everything was so delicious and very big portions for what you pay. Highly recommend the share platter to get a sample of all thier fantastic food. Do yourself a favor and check them out, you will not be disappointed!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a great gem of a restaurant! It’s really small inside but we were lucky enough to grab the last bar seats available just before 6pm on taco Tuesday.
First thing’s first, their horchata was excellent. You can order it by the glass or pitcher (love that option!)
We quite liked the chorizo con queso appetizer served with tortillas but the ponzole soup (which was fun to eat as you get to put in your own toppings) was just okay. The mixed dip (guac/salsa/beans) and chips was delicious.
For tacos, in the order from most to least favourite: pescada, discada, al pastor, beef tongue, frijoles con queso, and lastly the barbacoa (it was too dry). Honestly I would order all of them again except for the barbacoa.
Do not skip on dessert - the tres leches cake was the perfect ending to the meal! We loved eating here and can’t wait to be back already.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First visit to this location. Had a great experience. Service is excellent and the food matched. Will return without hesitation. Place is small, so not sure why people who show up at 6pm on a Fri night are surprised to see it full. If you show at busy times expect a wait.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'll just start by saying how phenomenal the food is. Their salsa was amazing as well as their tacos (I don't know what they put into that chipotle sauce, but I could drink it from a soup bowl). The wait was a bit, but they also don't take reservations, so that's understandable. They had a packed house (and now I see why). My only complaint was the service. The staff was all very friendly, but it took a while to recieve service (drinks, and to order, as well as asking for the bill). That said it wouldn't deter me from going back again! Their food was well worth the wait.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ WOW! Homemade Mexican food! We were blown away by the fresh food and authentic Mexican atmosphere. Considering 95% of the patrons were speaking Spanish says a ton about this hidden gem. DO NOT miss an opportunity to eat and drink while immersed in Mexican music. Fantastic service too, gracias!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Would absolutely recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for authentic Mexican food! Everything was so delicious and if you’re like me and can’t handle anything too spicy, you will really enjoy the food here.
Horchata was great, nachos were delicious with super fresh salsa and we had the sharing platter between us and our two kids and it was the perfect amount of food!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried Tacos Mexico for the first time on a Saturday evening. It was very busy and we were lucky enough to get a table for 2 without waiting. Tried the nachos and some tacos.
The nachos were great, and they didn’t charge extras for the guacamole. For the tacos we tried the fish, bean, and alpastor. The fish was her favourite and the Al-pastor mine.
Really our only complaint was the strawberry margarita was too sweet, but the Caesar was great.
Service was great, staff were very friendly.
