J	Jaimie Cowles on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've spent years looking for a kickboxing school in Toronto that would be a good fit for me - classes with an equal balance of hard work and fun, knowledgable and friendly staff and classes that could fit my sometimes erratic schedule. Imagine my surprise when I found one literally two blocks away from my house! Synergy Martial Arts is an absolute gem. The classes are well-paced and challenging, and the owner and instructors are SO friendly and great. I've been to four classes so far, and I already feel included and welcomed. There are kickboxing classes to fit every schedule, and they also offer martial arts classes and camps for kids. I'm so glad that I found Synergy - it's the school I was looking for all along.

Three times a week, we get worked hard and rewarded with visibly improved fitness. It is a great way to start the day - a small group and an enthusiastic and inspiring instructor, Lorena. It's great. In addition, my two boys (ages 11 and 9) have been students at Synergy for years. They love it and even ask to attend summer camps. They have fun, stay active and are motivated to make it to the next level. John is great with the kids, and shows patience that must come only after years of martial arts training!

I have tried the Taekwondo and kickboxing classes, and have attended a number of self defense workshops. They have all been great! All of the instructors are knowledgeable, helpful, and can clearly explain new concepts and demonstrate new skills. Over the years I have learned so much from the Synergy instructors! Each class is unique and provides students with a great way to stay active and get fit while learning new skills along the way. Synergy Martial Arts School is great place to train if you want to learn new skills, get active, work with a great group of instructors and other students, and do it at an affordable price!

The instructors are very knowledgeable, friendly and professional, there is a variety of fitness equipment, and the atmosphere is very encouraging. The instructors know the fitness level of every student and make sure everyone gets the most value out of every class. The best part - no class is the same! you always walk out learning something new. Thank you John and Alex for making it such a great experience!!

I highly recommend their classes, if your interested in toning and losing weight. I now have enrolled my 3 year old son and couldn't be happier. I know the trainers will teach him manners, how to listen and a few martial arts skills. I know he will do well in these classes and excited to see him progress. Thanks John for you hard and dedicated work!

I was never paid for the last month I worked there (February 2020). I addressed the issue and was told I was gonna be paid and then never received money. I understand businesses got hit hard the past two years but that is NO excuse to not pay an employee for an entire MONTH. Please do not work here especially if you are young and inexperienced as you will also be ripped off.

My son and his friends (16 boys & girls aged 5/6 years of age) had a great time and everybody was talking about it at school the next day! We booked the space for 2 hours and Master John & his staff did a great job in keeping the kids engaged including learning some basic martial arts moves, doing an obstacle course, playing games, playing with balloons etc. Each kid got to cut their own wooden board with their hands & feet and then could take the boards home which was a big hit with all the kids! My son also got to cut his cake (with the help of Master John) with a real sword which he loved! The staff helped set up before the party including putting decorations up etc as well as taking the kids to the bathroom during the party and then clean up at the end. I would highly recommend this place as a fun and unique birthday party idea for your child.
