L	Lara Fenton on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don’t recommend this school. After a year and a a bit of poor classroom management we switched classes to be in a healthier learning environment. A teacher sat in front of some of the students on stage so they had no view of the performances.

And what fun to sing the special Graduation Song with such a large group. Congratulations to all the students, but especially to the MYC teachers Samantha Atkinson, Natalia Ryjanovskaia, Tania Maalouf, Marlene Tak and Caitlin Holland for the excellent work you do with the Music for Young Children students at MUSICA Music School. It has been such a privilege to accompany my grandson for five full years in the program.

My kids are always excited to go to music class and are eager to practice. I love the group format and fun way that they teach the kids with all the musical characters. My daughters favorite part is that she has learnt how to compose her own songs. .

I wanted them to learn how to play the piano in a fun way as this program included singing, composing, and even colouring. They enjoyed the group environment and making music friends. I appreciate how the school fosters lots of opportunities for kids to perform in front of others through in-class concerts, informal music salons and my favourite, winter & spring concerts held at a local church. I can see the confidence in my children has grown and our extended family had made it a tradition to attend the organized concerts. My kids have graduated from the MYC program and are continuing with private lessons at Musica. If you want to foster a love and appreciation of music in your youngster (or for yourself), I would definitely recommend Musica!

The environment is very welcoming and the classroom instruction is skilled and engaging. Our children always happily go to their piano lessons. The program has taught them how to read music, play the piano, write their own compositions and also express themselves creatively through songs and movement. It is a wonderful way to introduce children to music!
