★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decided to give this place another chance to see if the awful customer service had improved and it has not. Got a gift card for someone as a gift and they were told that the staff couldn't redeem it and were left on the hook for the cost of the meal with no offer to do anything about it. Older staff are rude to customers and act entitled. that being said I haven't had an issue with any of the younger servers as they generally try to be understanding and aren't given much choice of what happens by the supervisors. Regardless I will not be back and I certainly will not be purchasing any more gift cards.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went with 2 other people for brunch today. We ordered a spinach dip which was so disgusting we did not eat it. There was a layer of oil sitting on top of the dish. We just decided not to eat it and not say anything to the server. I ordered eggs Benedict, which came out with salmon on it (I am allergic). The waitress did not come back to the table to check on the food until the rest of the group were finished their meals. I let the server know that I had received the wrong meal and she said "you ordered salmon". I stated I did not, because I have an allergy but mistakes happen. At this time, we decided to mention the spinach dip as well and the server replied "I know, I don't like it either" and walked away. 15 min later I still had not received the proper meal and we were eager to leave. I let the manager know that I did not need the meal anymore and that we would just take the bills. The manager then came back to our table and said "it seems like you ordered the salmon", I again mentioned I am allergic and that I did not. I did not appreciate being blamed for a simple mistake. I understand these things happen, I also work in the service industry. The staff at the restaurant were seen visibly starring and speaking about us, there was only 1 more table in the restaurant. The food did not meet expectations and the service was absolutely brutal.

My fiance and I had never eaten here before today, and I will make sure we come back. The food was so good, I especially liked how my burger melted in my mouth. Would recommend. Thank you Symposium!

I wish I new her name but my Dad and I really enjoyed our time and the dessert she recommended she deserves 5 stars, I gave 4 stars because they were out of something one the menu again on my third visit and each time it has been something different. Coffee was nice and fresh.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stop over on our way to Honey Harbor. Cool place. Loved the murals and spacious seating arrangements. The rice bowl menu was nice. Wasn't expecting anything vegan but there was! Some cool choice of cocktails too

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The quality has gone down from years past, I ordered the southern chicken with fries and the fish and chips. The gravy arrived with a skin on it as if it had been sitting out too long. my portion of fries didn't even fill the bowl it was in compared to the very full plate of fries for the fish and chips. Both meals had brown old coleslaw and they forgot to serve the fish with tartar sauce. It took 35 minutes and we were only 1 of four occupied tables 2 of which already had food when we walked in. The wait is understandable on a busy night but it was dead and there were staff standing around while one server did all the work on the floor. The restaurant was also freezing and we had to ask them to turn up the heat. All the customers were wearing their jackets at their tables. This was at the Barrie location on cundles.
