Beautiful decor inside, historic architectural building. Views of English bay from inside the restaurant. Calamari were delicious! Very nice friendly staff. Clean washrooms, very beautiful building, great experience.

Dog friendly hotel. Convenient and price are okay. Friendly staff and lots of parking around the area during low season. The rooms would need to be redone a bit dusty and old carpet. The bathrooms are tiny, and not well designed. I have knocked my head a bunch of time onto the curtain rod because there is no space to walk through when the door is open... or just change the door, put a right hand in swing. Which would solve the issue.

Shout out to our server Lauren who was amazing despite us ordering just dessert, coffee and one cocktail. She didn't rush us out and let us enjoy seated by the window and even recommended us to view the sunset before leaving. Definitely planning to come back for the dinner menu.

Went there for happy hours. Spacious dining rooms with big windows, you get to see the English Bay. Service was excellent, food was good and most importantly there was no annoying music, in fact, there wasn’t any music playing, which, in today’s world, is nearly impossible to come by. We often go to fine dining places and still have to endure loud or annoying music. Thank you for not playing songs that dominate the room & ruin the dining experience for your guests.

Stopped by for a late lunch/ early dinner. The house classic Caesar is wonderful. Had the double. Served with all the nibbles you need; olive, cherry tomato, cucumber, celery, lemon slice and prawn. Very good indeed. Had the fish and chips which is pacific ling cod and tempura batter. Crispy and seasoned well and the fries are excellent. A very good meal indeed.

Thank you for making our stay amazing. We want to thank everyone at the hotel that made our stay memorable. Sunny the dog loved all the attention and can't wait to come back. Our family has stayed here for generations and can hopefully come back for generations more.

I was skeptical of staying here when I walked up. I'm sure if you had loud neighbors you would be able to hear them but we didn't experience any of that. For the price and the great location this hotel is awesome. Beds were comfy and rooms were clean. We stayed in an upgraded king room with more space and it certainly is quite a difference in size.

We came just for drinks and desserts and had such a nice time we'll definitely come back. It's classy inside, the sort of place I could easily see bringing my parents but also enjoying myself, and everything was really well executed. I had a creme brulΓ©e and an expensive cocktail, and it was just delightful. The service, too, was fantastic.
