Great meats and reasonable price on selection. Lunch special only $9 for cheap lunch For people who don't Chinese, the staff are really accommodating to English only speakers. I recommend

this is a farm market, they don't accept debit card for bill under 20$, that's bad, careful when paying

I sure hope they give you more quality bbq meat when you order in person. The roasted pork I ordered from Ubereats was shxt. I don't even know if that could be called roasted pork (as seen in the picture) ?

Good prices and pre made food bar. Only issue is the line was really long and only one cashier and if you are just buying hot food you still have to go over into the main line. Would be cool if you could buy the food separately. Although waiting in the line I ended up buying a few other vegetables anyway

I came to know of Sy farm market through the Too Good to Go app. The first time I reserved a mystery bag I was thoroughly impressed. A good variety of produce and other products that weren't going to sell. However when I reserved another mystery bag today, I was given a (much smaller) bag of stuff that had essentially already become compost. ( And nowhere near the value of my first bag.) The point of Too Good to Go is to divert food waste BEFORE it becomes food waste. Not have customers pay for a bag of food that is doomed to be composted as soon as they get it home. ( Over half my bag today was way past the point of being edible.) I fully expect that when participating in food recovery programs such as this, that I'll have to cut off skin, or dispose of certain parts of veggies, or even have to dispose of something that went unnoticed here or there. But today I paid $6 for what more or less amounted to a bag of garbage. Disappointing, but I'll reiterate I was amazed by my first mystery bag, so I hope today's was a fluke, and future bags are actually diverting waste, not pawning it off.

I went to check out the place because of the Too Good to Go app. I paid $6 to get $18 worth of produce. The older Asian lady gave me about $6-8 worth of produce. I mentioned to her that it’s supposed to be $18 worth as it states on The app. She mumbled and gave me some grapes worth $2 and said that’s it. I asked her if she can add anymore. She kept saying no, that’s it. So I definitely feel ripped off since I would have rather chosen the produce that I would’ve wanted rather than a random assortment chosen by her and still paid the same amount. I would not recommend using the app here. I’m all for reducing food waste and shopping local, but I don’t appreciate not receiving what was promised. I’m sure shopping there normally would be fine, but I went out of my way to support a local business owner and didn’t get the value that was promised. This was my first time visiting and just sharing my experience. Hope you have a better one if you choose to go there with the app.
