This market is pretty small so would be a 3 star but they have this AWESOME cider vendor that bumped it up to 4. The market has a few vendors selling the usual berries, 1 or 2 bakers selling actual bread and a single vendor selling vegetables. There's also the usual random assortment of local vendors which may or not be there depending on the weekend. All in all, a nice local farmers market.

The Burnaby Farmers Market has so much potential. Lots of space for vendors but lacks the traffic of Vancouver markets so there are less vendors. Marketing needs works as I feel not many people know about it. Perfect Saturday morning activity with a kid! You can walk around Deer Lake Park after!

As of the end of May, there aren't a whole lot of vendors yet but still enough to make the trip worth it. Nice selection of products, and friendly people. Great way to spend the day as Deer Lake park is walking distance from the Market. Thanks Alpine Honey for the delicious honeys, and for helping save the bees! Support local! ?

Great place to go early in the morning. Have a coffee and bun. Get organic vegetables, variety of bake goods, fruits, meats, cut flowers and other artisan jams, spices, sauces, leather bags and belts and many more.

My first visit this year and it didn't disappoint at all as I was wanting to purchase farm fresh produce. There's a great variety of fresh organic fruits & vegetables, baked goods, a plant booth, soap vendor, salsa & jam makers plus a few food cart vendors. Absolutely love the sourdough sesame bread from the big dog bakery or Dog bakery...not sure of the name, but the bread is super fresh and we've devoured it! There were a few food vendors that all had lineups which seemed to move fast and lots of people eating lunch while they shopped. They did a good job of social distancing with well marked entry & exit and reminders about staying apart. Not sure what the previous poster was expecting from a farmers market, but go for the right reason & you'll be happy.

Very small farmers market available during summer. There are about 20-30 local providers and some truck food available. Bakery shop was very good with some delicious breads. Honey and chocolate seems to be delicious but I did not try. It is very local and the varieties are not that much. Convenient free parking also provided.
