S	Swing and Sway on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the best dance place in the GTA. All dancers are welcome to this beautiful and ornate venue which has two suspended and professional dance floors. There is a cosy sitting area, and free snacks and hot drinks (you can even bring in your snacks or food, or order in). The sound and light systems are second to none! With surround sound and subs, accompanied with a superb lighting system, the atmosphere always matches the dances played. The play list accommodates a verity of dances with a fusion of Latin, Ballroom, Salsa and Argentine Tango. The parties are on Friday and Saturday nights, from 8:00 pm to 12:30 am, with a complimentary lesson at the first hour. Some dance parties are geared for singles and the others are a mix of couples and singles. Call in to find more details. Their special parties like: New Year’s Eve, Valentine’s Day, Halloween, Hollywood nights, and Hawaiian nights are not to be missed. The amount of decorations and special effort put into these parties is amazing. You can also have a private setup for your party, by booking some of the seats or the entire place. On Thursday nights there are two dance classes: Beginners from 8:00 to 9:00 pm and intermediate from 9:00 to 10:00 pm. These lessons are offered as a package with a very attractive price. A	Angela Vanroon on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My boyfriend and I started here with the groupon offer for 7 weeks of Latin ballroom. We learned basics of salsa, cha cha, rhumba. The instructors really break it down and give you time to practise and correct it. We loved it, we moved up to the intermediate classes and have done Argentine tango and the Jive so far. The pace is a little faster at the intermediate level, but you learn enough in five weeks that you actually know what you're doing and look great! We've had tons of compliments at weddings we've danced at. Highly recommend this studio.
M	Mary Casey on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The instructor definitely knows his stuff. He's professional. The classes do start slightly late. You have at least one female instructor, which is nice when you need to follow. The set-up and teaching style is really nice, it makes it easy to learn and progress. The classes are somewhat big, but manageable, and filled with suburban couples, so if you are 'single' it's hard to have a partner, especially if you are female - the old suburban couples are reluctant to switch partners. The instructors also don't influence switching partners that often, which means you typically continue with the same partner and could be carrying on 'bad habits' from that one partner. The individual attention and class interaction could increase - meaning it would be nice for the instructors to dance with the students without you having to ask them in order to correct you and to make rounds more often so they can correct your steps. This is especially important in beginner classes. It is a large class so it is hard, but the instructors do not need to be dancing with each other while the rest of the class is practicing, they could be going around more.
