M	Mitch Russo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went with my 7 year old niece and my father to go and buy some wine tonight. When we entered the store, we were told that the small child has to wait by the door. After telling them that was ridiculous and they were not following BC liquor license laws, and that she is 7 years old, they said that that’s how it is and she has to wait at the door. They said it had to do with the tobacco (hidden in a boxed off area behind the cash register) because she was not allowed to be near that (is that not sold in grocery stores? Are children not allowed to enter those now either?) Luckily I had someone who could wait outside with her because I was not going to leave my niece (who was now scared because strangers were telling her to leave her care takers as if we had broken the law). If not, what should we have done? What is the point of this? Is she going to jump over the counter, grab a cigarette and start smoking? Can she not hold our hand and stay in the safety of us rather than wait near a door where strangers are coming and going and closer to the tobacco? Was this all a joke? The service we received today was unbelievably disgusting. The workers in the store were extremely rude to us, and have traumatized a small child. I will never return to this store again, and would not recommend going there if you have children.
R	Roger Huizinga on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small liquor attached to the Days Inn in downtown Victoria. Small selection, reasonable prices. We picked up two bottles of wine. Convenient for sure, close to our timeshare, but small selection.

Always greeted immediately and great advice and suggestions. I believe the young mans name is matt or mark and Sophia his coworker are just incredible. Warm and welcoming.
