★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Swift Creek Lookout is a great little place to view valemount and the rest of the valley with a "Birds eye view". I recommend hiking or biking the whole swift creek loop which is about 10km in length, the views are amazing through there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favourite hikes. Part of a nice trail that loops around for 10 km if you do the whole thing, the lookout itself has a picnic table so you can sit and take a break there. Its continuous uphill to get there so its a great form of exercise. The thing that i like most is if you live or stay in town you don't have to drive to the beginning of the trail, you can walk from your door to the lookout and back if your not lazy, if you feel like a workout do the whole loop you'll get to cross a suspension bridge into a small ancient forest.
