★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Most beautiful lake hidden away on the gravel road. Easiest access is from jaffrey side. Endless forest roads to hike. Lots of whitetail deer, turtles and trout fishing. Great place to swim. Cartop boat launch which makes it a less noisy place. Ideal for kayaking. About 9 campsites. And best of all it's free.....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great spot if you can handle pack-in and pack-out. Limited spaces in the most concentrated area (by boat ramp). It is Crown Land, however, so you could wander wider to find a more secluded spot. Lake has Rainbows and Small Mouth Bass as well as Painted Turtles

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rough road to get there - recommend coming in from Jaffray Baynes Lake Road to Suzanne Lake Road, rather than the paths out to Kikomun Newgate or Kootenay Highway. Beautiful (and free) little campsites with easy access to the lake, with a nice little dock to launch from, and a boat launch through the middle of it. Can get a little crowded on popular weekends.
