โ โ โ โ โ I donโt like fish so I donโt often get sushi since not many places have a good vegetable selection. I stumbled upon Sushi sama through uber eats and oh my god!! Lots of vegetable options ( edamaki was so good!), mango roll was so fresh, and the chicken philly? SOOO crispy and tasty! Will definitely be ordering again!

โ โ โ โ โ Good sushi if you have a craving that you need to kick but could use some more flavour.
Fish itself is decent, presentation is great and portions are generous, but the rice definitely needs more vinegar. It just tastes like very plain steamed rice. They also have lettuce in some of their rolls which I haven't seen before at other places. I find it waters down the fish flavour and makes it taste plain.

โ โ โ โ โ This might have been just an unlucky experience but the food was a total pass and definitely not worth the $25 we spent. We ordered 3 rolls and my family and I would not eat any of them after a few bites. The rice was bland, the shrimp was rubbery and the rolls were falling apart. The staff were not very friendly (of 5 behind the counter, only 1 of them was working while the rest were on their phones) and the kitchen was not clean. Hopefully this won't be the same experience for others.

โ โ โ โ โ I just order this today. Good packaging, friendly staff. They are really patient to help me place the orders because I canโt eat raw fish. And the hand roll look amazing. Best sushi in town I have ever had.

โ โ โ โ โ I was super excited to see a sushi joint open up in Greenbank square.
Being a big fan of sushi this was great news. I've ordered sushi a few times and each time was a bit disappointing. The combo plates don't have much fish and instead are padded with low cost options such as cucumber rolls. The tempura is a hit and a miss. Last time I ordered the tempura was brown. You could taste the old oil that desperately needed changing.
For the most part the sushi is pretty good but lacking in flavor and freshness. There are better joints in Ottawa worth checking out.

โ โ โ โ โ Fresh tasting sushi. Sushi was made to order. Unfortunately the rice was bland tasting. Almost like itโs missing vinegar and seasoning.
Ordering was fast and easy. Nice option for ordering sushi a la carte on the west end. I would order again in future!
