β β β β β I normally donβt take out sushi because most of the time take out sushi is not fresh. Ever since my first order, I only take out sushi from this store. Very fresh!!
My Japanese friend also agreed that the sushi is great.

β β β β β The desserts are really nice!! The Oreo cake and the matcha cake are my favorites. I shared them with my friends, and they were surprised.

β β β β β My boyfriend and I shared 4 maki rolls (two California, dynamite and mango shrimp tempura) and were so pleased with the quality and the size of them!
Only downside is that the place doesnt have anywhere to sit, so we felt it was a bit overpriced for a takeout only spot. Also had an earl grey bubble tea and it was a solid 4/5 for a place thats not specialized in bubble tea. We will definitely be back!

β β β β β Delicious sushi. Spicy mayo is lovely, balance of rice to protein is very good. Was able to crisp up tempura shrimp in an air fryer when I got home. Wish the pickup times were tighter, but will be back!

I had high hopes for this place being a new sushi place in Barrhaven. I ordered a Pokebowl and a classic bubble tea.

The order was well packaged in double bag paper and plastic. Unfortunately they forgot to give me a Boba straw... but I had a metal one anyways.

The pokebowl, was unfortunately a let down. 75% of it was rice, still better than edo Japan's but not even close to Sushi Sama. One surprise was they did include a small simple salad and miso soup so that's a +1.

The Boba tastes like 0% sugar, and the pearls were not sweetened that much and some were also hard. I would avoid or just go hit up presto.

β β β β β Got the 122-piece party tray and 30-piece sashimi combo. Great quality and everything tasted amazing. Glad to have finally found a good sushi place in this area!

β β β β β Ok, 1000 Islands Sushi charge $75 for 90 pcs vs this new place charge $89 for the same quantity (party tray 90 pcs). The sashimi is a bit better in this place but the sushi and rolls are better in 1000 Islands sushi. Overall, I think we will stick to 1000 Island sushi for take out ?
