I showed up to an appointment with Dr. Telfer on time to find they had cancelled my appointment. They sent me multiple reminders via email, text and by phone yet they didnt have the decency to contact me at all. I had already taken the day off work for this appointment and paid for parking by this point. Lastly I was greeted by a heavy woman who spoke rudely to me right off the bat. She in no way showed that she wanted to help

As I noticed the sub specialist especially the surgeon doctors of B.C. are extremely arrogant and priggish, there is no sympathies empathy towards needs of patients.we have seen doctors in State ,UK,and especially in Asia who are more skillful surgeons but they are not acting stepping in the air. Contrary they are very humble knowledgeable and friendly with their patients.US exams especially the step 1 exam is the major challenge for Canadian surgeon. I noticed so many Canadian doctors failed in the hardest and important USMLE step 1 and became doctor with the 3 hrs exam of MCC. Second thing I notice Canadian doctors appearance is very casual coming and sitting in the office with their shorts or Jim cloths . Waiting time for these dignitaries is 3 years or most often 2 years. I am waiting for spine surgery since 2018. Govt of Canada should take action to the growing population of B.C.these doctors can not meet the needs of B.C. ill population.in 2 or 3 years waiting time .the person problem will be worse and to the point that the surgery of these dignitaries won’t help. Bottom line in immigrant we have more skillful cardio, Neuro, and orthopedic surgeons but unfortunately they are subjected to go through nonsense of ILETS with the score of 7. What is the fruits of getting high score in simple communication with the patients. So these immigrant doctors facing with this austerity measures. Second option I will encourager alll skillful doctors of Russia China India Korea to substantiated well equipped centres in the proximity of North America especially Canada to facilitate the surgical vulnerable patients. In that case we will not bugging the priggish so called Canadian surgeon and we will let their employers insurance hiring bodies to pay for these specialist by its own cost. Please support my ideas we have lots needy patients that their problems getting worse during the ridiculous waiting time periods.

My son and I are very very impressed with the professionalism and care given during my recent medical visits. There was time taken for a thorough investigation into my issues as well as discussion regarding options available. It was decided that due to other medical issues surgery would not be preferable. Other treatment ensued in future appointment and I am now walking without pain for the first time in several years. Thank you to the staff for making me feel so comfortable.

Tried to cancel an appointment for my partner. Even though they text, email and call for confirmation, you cannot text, email or call and leave a message to cancel. The receptionist told me it would be $100 to cancel under 24 hours notice, which is ironic as they let my partner wait 90 minutes past the appointment time to see the doctor at the last appointment. When I brought that up the rude receptionist hung up.I called back and after a longer conversation I can tell you this is the rudest most ignorant receptionist I’ve ever dealt with and I was an outbound telemarketer in my youth. If you get referred to this doctor save yourself a little stress and ask for another referral because the doctor may be great but she obviously endorses her receptionists negative, condescending and rude behavior. People who are in pain and need help shouldn’t be treated that way. And our time is just as valuable as the doctors. A doctor who charges $100 missed appointment fee but is fine with being an 90 minutes late for her appointments, doesn’t respect your time and doesn’t deserve her time respected even if she has “Dr.” in front of her name. She obviously wants her receptionist to be rude, it allows her to behave horribly and not have to ever hear about it. Surely there’s other orthopedic doctors who care about your time and have a compassionate staff but this office isn’t it.

Dr. Nadeau is a very kind and skilled surgeon who has her patients best interests at heart. I received a report from AccessMRI on my MRI which indicated that I had osteoarthritis. This is a disease that causes the spinal cord to degenerate. I was terrified and wondered what my future would be. Dr. Nadeau started our meeting by telling me this diagnosis was wrong and explained what the real problem was and how she recommended fixing it without surgery. She then showed me images of my healthy spine to illustrate what she had just told me.

As a result of Covid I waited 2.5 years for surgery with Dr Nadeau, she changed my life, I can walk without a cane, I cant say enough positive things about my experience. Originally saw Dr. Malloon, he was attentive & proactive. The Moa was a bit short at first but when I treated her with the respect she well deserves things went well. These professionals are doing their jobs under very adverse circumstance right now. Be patient, be kind & treat them with due respect!

I wish there were an option for no star. I tore my meniscus and it is really really painful, I went to emergency and they referred me to Dr. Melissa Nadeau, I got an appointment after waiting for a month and got MRI done and she told me that she don't do surgeries and referring me to Dr. Kenny Lee and she said you've to wait for 3 to 4 weeks and now it's been 6 weeks and I tried calling dr. Kenny's office they don't answer and I called Dr. Malessa's office they said she didn't even put referral on even tho she told me she'll do it quick because my knee was getting worse and worse and I am in so much pain right now. I don't know what am I suppose to do now. Worst experience ever!!!

They make it difficult to cancel appointments and charge $100 no-show fee if you don't cancel. There was no cancel option on their website and when I called in during their limited hours I had to wait for 13 minutes before someone answers (at 9:30am on a Tuesday) and the woman who I spoke to was the rudest, coldest and inhumane person I've had the displeasure of dealing with. I wouldn't want to imagine being under the knife of these people.
