★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They have great coffee and pastries. The butter tarts are to die for. Exceptional service and very nice owners. Location is good too, it was 3 min. from our hotel’s area. Beach across the road and cozy inside. Definitely will be back for more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very cute decor and great ambience with great views of the lake. Location is perfect for scenic drive and a good pit stop. Limited food and fresh baked goods, but great tastes. The prices are also very competitive! You also won’t fight the busy lines like Starbucks or timmies.
The cons: could use better sound proofing in the bathrooms and better locking system. Can hear the toilet seat lid coming down while
you’re at your table. Cleanliness could use some attention with some matter in the tables and window sills.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is simply wonderful. Very good ambiance with outside seating arrangements. The sandwich menu options are very good. I tried the Tuna sandwich and the egg sandwich. They were freshly made and tasted very good. I was recommended by a friend of mine who tried their food and loved it. It’s been few times I’ve tried their food and would highly recommend it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went for a walk-in, not realizing the pizzas were advance order only. However, the staff were so nice and accommodating and made us a pizza to have while we waited. Loved the decor and atmosphere. The Margherita pizza was good and hit the spot ? but.... I can't stop raving about the soup.. their butternut squash was perfect! So flavourful and rich.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We're from out of town and dropped Surf Cafe seeking croissants ? and coffee, and we found it. Chef Chris knows his croissants. If you're looking for a delicious French butter croissant, go here. We also had 2 cappuccinos, one regular and one decaf. Both were delicious. Highly recommended for travelers. We updated the photo of the front entrance, with the old tree ? cut down.
