★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yesterday my partner was speaking with Nayeon Kim regarding car insurance and she was extremely unprofessional. Very disturbing behaviour. First off, when my partner returned her call she answered with a “Heyyyyyyyy”. She was speaking to my partner as if they were friends and not discussing insurance. She was giggling a lot, asking if my partner was single multiple times, around 3 or 4, and was using a flirtatious voice. I have 25 minutes worth of her conversation on audio that shows her unprofessional behaviour.
I don’t know if she was trying to make a sale, or what her intentions were with a stranger, but it was uncomfortable and very unprofessional. Never has anyone in the “business industry” made me or my partner feel this way. I can assure you that when I speak to MY insurance agent, he does not communicate like this with me despite me being a customer of his for 6+ years. If you need insurance and do not want to be uncomfortable while discussing insurance choose DESJARDINS!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Did the owner of the company just read a customers review where she complains about not being able to voice her concerns to a manager, with "im sorry you feel you are a victim and would you like me to publicly air out your account details". He's upset so its ok to shame this woman publicly. What an arrogant approach, doesn't come across as him supporting "the boys" at all. Perception is everything and this exchange alone shows confrontation and arrogance by Surex. He must be a JT supporter

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Why did you guys take down my review? You stalled giving me new rates for months, then it was sent to me 5 days before my policy was to renew. Before the renewal date I send an email requesting for it to be cancelled and it was ignored. Then you guys wanted me pay a fee for cancelling it after you guys renewed it, when I told you I did not want it renewed. I reported you to the BBB
I have emails to verify everything. Good thing because hucksterish people like yourselves would probably claim what I'm saying didn't happen. If I can provide an email showing you I requested my policy to be cancelled before the renewal date you guys are in the wrong, and can't dispute that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely a terrible service offered every single time. Sent many emails and called in few times and left voicemails to Kori Duff. It's been two days she never returned a call back or did any help to added the house in to the policy, and I end up getting the insurance from CIBC for a better rate. She never got back on a time, had a terrible experiance with her and because thier associated agent don't feel like reponding they won't even help to get you another agent to get things solved in a timely manner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I could give Paul Powell 0 stars I would. Super great guy when he is signing you up for a policy, then he sends you a bill that is higher than your quote and when you simply want clarification he’s impossible to get hold of. Classic. There are much better brokers to deal with than Surex and I wish I hadn’t wasted my time on them. Their level of follow up and customer service is nothing short of pathetic.

It was a pleasure working with Grant Collin.
By far the best person I ever dealt with setting up an insurance policy. He was super efficient, quick to respond, knowledgeable, professional and found a great price for our home insurance. I would highly recommend to anyone.
