★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s definitely pricey but that’s pretty standard for the parks. We stayed the night and the wood burning fireplace was a great bonus. Stayed for dinner and we both had very good meals, again the price is high but it was very good food. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Thanks

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This resort is overpriced for the value delivered. Two star hotel for the price of four star. Dinner ok but nothing special for the price, outside of very nice presentation. Breakfast should be included at such high price point but was not. Strangely enough fruit in fruit buffet was spoilt (started to ferment). I say, strangely, since one would assume that somebody responsible for food would double check such obvious thing. Small deli on premises is a good idea. Gift shop well stocked in interesting books and guides. For those who enjoy hiking a 6.4 km (one way) easy hike to Big Bend campground is highly recommended for stunning beauty and views from the campground.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ( me and my spouse) tried the vegetable curry and chicken roast. Though the food was little pricey but it was delicious especially the veg curry. The ambience was great as it was just besides the sunwapta falls in the ice field parkway. We highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have a few things to say about the resort and how they treat their staff as well.
For starters; I find the resort overpriced, for $300 and up you would expect up to date commodities. Beds are old and uncomfortable, the rooms are unpleasant, and for climate control we are given a dinky old fan!
Breakfast is not included, and given that it's a premium you would hope it would be top notch too. No. Sub par ingredients, spoiled fruit, overpriced as well ($6 for an egg?)
The view is amazing, but that's what you would expect to come intrinsically for any resort here.
Now for their employees, I honestly feel they aren't treated as they should be with their current working conditions. (I have spoken to a few during my stay here).
It doesn't help that some managers here would rather point at something and tell their ALREADY PREOCCUPIED workers to deal with it than do it themselves (Extremely lazy), they do this for the smallest things (Micro-managing).
On top of all this, they have no effective way to keep their rooms cool just like we don't. This resort spares nothing but the bare minimum for its staff and does not even have the decency to provide them a fan, but they can keep hiring people.
All in all; this resort is cheap, outdated, and boasting 5 star prices for a 2 star experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed at this resort in August with my family for 2 nights. We were a bit worried about staying here because there wasn't proper wifi, but we ended up having an amazing time. The receptionist (I think her name was Sharon?) went above and beyond to help us and make our stay great. Despite being so busy, she went out of her way to help us with bookings and even called the hotels for us since we were having trouble with the internet. She also gave us as much tea as we asked for, which we really appreciated. Lastly, the food and service at the resort's restaurant was amazing both times that we dined there. Great experience at this hotel and I would highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stopped for lunch, Caesar salad with Chicken and the Chicken wrap we’re good value considering the remoteness, and we’re delicious. Staff are friendly and helpful. Worth pulling in.
