E	ErnLin B on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stopped by here today to consider staying here sometime. They are currently doing a big renovation on the 3 bedroom cottage, and have renovated some others. The owners were very kind, and gave us a tour of a renovated 1 bedroom. Here are some other things we noted: - Charcoal BBQ included - All new beds (many king size) - Pull out couches - Showers in all the units (no tubs) - WI-FI is available, although not strong enough to stream - No TVs - There is a small sand beach - There is a swing set - There is a community fire pit. (no individual pits) - They have rental kayaks/canoes/etc
L	Lee-Ann Dawe on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was fantastic. So many impressive improvements. Service was quick. Food came in a reasonable time. Everyone eating at the lodge was smiling. Great staff. I would go back in a heartbeat. I envy the people who live there and can go often.

Beautifully renovated, roomy, and great views over the lake. Lake Nipissing is clean and not overly populated. Would love to plan a trip here next summer. Would highly recommend this place! (We have seen a lot of rental cottages, and this is definitely on the higher end.)

Came back to try the new Barbless Hook restaurant, and it was awesome. Beautiful place, inside and on the deck. What a view from the patio. The food and service were impeccable. Prices are very reasonable for this type of establishment. We'll definitely be going back to enjoy that patio and the great food. When you go, tell them Ron sent you and they won't have a clue who that is but they probably won't hold it against you?. Trust me, go try it, well worth it.?
A	Akshit Tripathi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went here for a long weekend, and stayed for 3 nights. The Sunrise cottage we stayed in is spacious and comfortable. The washroom comes with enough toiletries, and the kitchen is kitted out with rags, crockery and cutlery. The river view from the balcony is good, and there are provisions for BBQ and bonfire. There are also kayaks, canoes and paddle boats available for use. Only potential issues would be that there's only one washroom in the cottage, as well as the fact that the WiFi caps out at 1GB.

Our hosts Denis and Denise were so helpful and accommodating! The cottage was new and spotless. We loved it so much we are already booked again for next year. Sherri Reeb
M	Michelle McDowell on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Last weekend we attended our friends wedding at Lakair Lodge. The bride and groom rented all of cottages for the wedding group. The cottages were absolutely lovely - kitchenette with everything you need, seating area with windows facing the water, lovely linens and several docks along the water to enjoy a private morning coffee. The lodge also offered access to kayaks, canoes and other water activities. The grounds were very well upkept and they set up a welcome fire pit for us on the first evening. Access to BBQs and picnic tables made everything easy and intimate. The wedding was held in main lodge and it was next level gourmet - blew our expectations away. Fresh vegetables, breads, cooked and seasoned just right chicken and beef - oh and melt in your mouth scalloped potatoes - I might drive back just for those! It was a dinning experience that was absolutely perfect for a small wedding. A lot of love went into preparing for the evening and it showed. In the later part of the reception we had a fire going and it really made the evening incredibly special. The team at the lodge ... I'm not sure they ever slept - they worked absolutely tirelessly. They were a huge part of what made our experience so special - five star client service skills. Years of hospitality experience all rolled into this beautiful setting. Recommend it to anyone!

We loved everything; high ceiling, furniture, light fixtures, fully equipped kitchen, clean and comfortable, beautiful view from the porch. They have everything from nice decks, BBQ, bonfire to boat rentals. Dennis and Denise are doing excellent job! ?
