Special thanks to Eric for the fishing tour and the shore lunch .You are an awesome guide ! Thank you all at Crane's Lochaven, for making our stay very pleasant and memorable .

D	David Morrison on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just spent 10 days of bliss at this wonderful place! The moment Matt picked us up at Wolseley Bay we knew we were in for a great stay. Ed & Sue are wonderful hosts and made sure our stay was everything we hoped for. Matt & Shaun helped us with anything and everything. Jess, Colly (I'm sure this spelling is wrong) and Gracie were awesome dining hostesses. The Fish Fry was a blast and the scenery was spectacular. It's a paradise. Most of all, we felt at home. Really at home. Great people, great food and the splendor of the French River. I don't know when but I will be back.

Words, nor pictures can describe the absolutely worth while experience . Everything from the fishing tours, hiking trails, shore lunches, excellent home-made kitchen recipies, and so much more will have you never wanting to leave(in my experience). And again you could not ask for a better staff to take care of you while you visit. With both owner, operators, husband and wife, Ed&Sue there everyday to make sure things go along the way they always have and always should. Needles to say I STRONGLY recommend atleast checking out this destination. And I STRONGLY recommend booking a return flight if you intend on going home or you might want to stay longer than you bargained for! Haha
C	Craig Johannessen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful location. Can see the milky Way at night. Fishing was awesome thanks to the knowledgeable guides we had for our two day company fishing trip. Stayed in cabin 16 which had plenty of space for 11 people. Docks are great if you bring your own boat. We chose to rent. Food was amazing just wish portions were a little bigger since most of us are growing men. Sue and Ed are really laid back and trusted you from the beginning. This you can't find. They treated you like family. Can't say enough good things about this gem of a place. Booked next year, same time, same cabin before we left last weekend. Thanks Sue and Ed from the staff at S.I.G.

B	B Quinn on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredible fishing trip at an incredible lodge!! Ed and Sue know how to do it right!! They (and all their staff) treat their guests with kindness and are accommodating in every way. Their packages are all inclusive and they really mean all inclusive... no annoying extra charges. All the bait and ice we could use... and their boats are perfect for fishing. We were greeted upon our arrival and everyone was so helpful... from carrying our luggage to the cabin to giving us a tour of the whole facility and letting us know the meal schedule. Daily meals in the main lodge were delicious with a different selection with each and every sitting. And the fishing... the fishing was the best we've experienced!! We caught pike, bass, perch, catfish and we even snagged into a monster muskie... literally the biggest fish any of us had ever had on a line!! We hired a guide for fishing one of the days and the wonderful shore lunch alone was worth the price!! On the night of our last full day, Ed and his crew cooked up a fabulous meal on the lodge's huge outdoor BBQ grill for all the guests... a meet and greet with people from all over Canada and the U.S. We really enjoyed our time at Crane's Lochaven Wilderness Lodge and wouldn't hesitate to make another trip!!! I can't say enough about the incredible time we had... thanks again to Sue and Ed!!!
