★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Would not recommend this company to anyone. The management team is by far the worst. They took the damagage deposit with no reason, if you make a noise complaint they will ignore you. They will ignore your phone calls and emails, laundry room is 99% of the time broken. Unsafe overpriced waste of time. Please save yourself and avoid sunrex at all costs! 0/5 starts

Sunrex apartments are absolutely beautiful and they take management of their buildings very seriously.
What do you pay for rent is definitely worth every penny.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don’t know what happened to Liz that worked there but the guy who runs the company and have to deal with when you call about properties is a nightmare. Always has an attitude, ego, and chip on his shoulder. It’s baffling to me he is in charge of properties and staff. I also had a friend recently dealing with him and Sunrex and they haven’t changed. It’s a shame because living with them about 8 years ago they were great. Now it’s all attitude, which is ironic as they try to pon off apartments that need major repairs but don’t tell people till after they sign their lease.
If you’re renting make sure you check every nook and cranny of the apartment they are leasing out

I’ve been really happy with how I’ve been treated, as well, the property manager, Jenn has been amazing. As long as I need to rent, I’ll keep renting with this company.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sunrex management took over an apartment I was living at and knowing all the bad reviews I heard about them, I knew that it would be troublesome with this new management. I decided to sublet my apartment for September and had plenty of people that applied but heard nothing back about if someone was accepted or not. I paid my sublet fee and handed in a form that was needed but somehow they did not have me on the system to sublet so now my plan on moving out was moved to the following month. They lack on communication and take DAYS AND DAYS to reply to you. They messed up my plan on moving due to their mistake and I would have never found out about this issue if an applicant didn’t tell me they called my resident manager and ask about my sublet. And in which he replied “I have no sublet down for this apartment”. On top of that, when I moved out, the resident manager told me I would not get charged for anything as everything was good but when I got my security deposit. they took some money for damages when there was none as the RM said??? Also, they never sent my pet deposit as well and had to message them and had to wait DAYS for a reply. This management took over a month to send my security deposjt and pet deposit backand if I haven’t messaged them about it, I would have never received it. Dislike this management very much.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Please stay away from this apartment complex, there are many reviews below regarding them scamming deposits and losing pet deposits.
Marcela the property manager refuses to refund our deposit despite us not being tenants. We have zero documentation filled out. We were supposed to sublet a unit from a current tenant on a short term lease, she originally said we couldn't do that, she then went on to say I could do that If I sent the property management company an E-transfer.
I went ahead and did just that, but decided to not proceed or sign any documentation because of how shady and unorganized the company contact person was being. I am now told that It's " too bad, so sad ". How unethical are these people?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I lived at 61 Furby for almost 8 years. I found dealing with Sunrex, professional and courteous. If there was an issue, resident manager Jennifer would take care of it promptly and always kept the building clean. This is a pet friendly apartment!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best property I have lived and ever dealt with .. My leasing Agent Christine for 795 sterling is delightful, amazing and your efforts will always be appreciated. Alot of real estate rentals don’t care about there renters but this place is different I tell you. I really enjoyed my time here and wish I dint have to leave but Life happened.
