Excellent Service! I rented a 4wheel Knee Scooter that was delivered within 2 hours of order. The gentleman who delivered it was very helpful to set it up to my comfortable leg height for pushing. It was also sterilized at the shop. The bell reminded me of the bell on my first bike as a child.

If you look at the good reviews for this company, you'll see they are from a couple years ago. The recent ones (after new management) are horrible reviews, because the customer service at Sunquest is HORRIBLE. Sunquest continues to owe me $160, which they admit was charged by them to my Visa in error. They are refusing to refund me!!! AFTER OVER A MONTH OF REQUESTING A REFUND FROM SUNQUEST FOR THE SECOND CHARGE THEY MADE FOR $160, WHICH THEY ADMIT WAS CHARGED IN ERROR, I STILL DO NOT HAVE MY REFUND!! I am extremely UNHAPPY with Sunquest Mobility& Medical Equipment in New Westminster!! I requested medical equipment well in advance of scheduled foot surgery, but when my surgery was postponed (maybe indefinitely??) I immediately went into Sunquest to let them know. This was about a month before my scheduled surgery. I was told that the equipment had already been charged to me, and that refunds ARE NOT GIVEN!! He said I would have a credit, and when I asked for receipt for this credit, he refused. Eventually, he wrote the amount of my credit $160 on the back of a business card, but he wouldn't date it or sign it. THEN, the charge actually went through more than 1-1/2 months later - and of course, they already knew that I wouldn't be renting the medical equipment. These are unethical business practices, and I suggest others not find themselves in similar circumstances with this company. I want a refund!!!!!

The scooter was delivered on Friday of a long weekend (almost a year ago). He did adjust a couple of minor items before leaving. I learned shortly after that the rear suspension needed to be adjusted as it was bottoming out everywhere. I contacted them numerous times both by phone and email and was promised every time that someone would drop by to correct this. Now after a year there has been no one show up and they are no longer replying to my emails. I feel totally abandoned. They received payment and no follow up. Not even a reply.

My partner purchased a toilet seat riser for my MIL ahead of knee surgery, and was told -- by the folks at the store - to buy the "deluxe" model -- that would fit on any toilet. Surprise -- it doesn't. BUT, they also won't take it back -- unused because of Health Canada rules. When we were understandably upset by the loss of $200+, guy called us aggressive/rude. I really don't think we were rude, but just understandably upset. After leaving the comment below, even though I disagreed with his version of events, I called back. We were able to have a reasonable conversation, where he said he would try to get the product's rep to help. They were able to find a different seat, and give us a store credit for the difference. While I do think a lot of this was unnecessary and likely caused by poor communication, I do appreciate the effort made to fix things. That's why I have updated this rating to give a better rating.

We required bath & shower grip bars installed in my mom's apartment and were extremely pleased with the assistance from Sunquest. Several sample sizes were given to us beforehand and also the name & phone number of a professional installer. The service was prompt, efficient and friendly. Highly recommend this store.

Brought my mother's scooter here to have tires and tubes replaced. The staff was exceptionally friendly, honest, upfront, patient and kind. We asked about the medical recliners and the owner took us through their different models, showed us how they worked and what the different types are able to do. There was no surprises on our invoice, the price was exactly what we expected. I will definitely be returning for my home health needs.

I avoided this company when it was the old management but the NEW owner is friendly, knowledgeable and always helpful. He came to my house twice to fix a battery problem I was having on my dad's old scooter and never charged me a dime. Thanks for all your help, I will definitely be purchasing the next scooter from this company!
