★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went here almost ten years ago now. At the time the staff were extremely divided in how they treated children. Some didn't care, and were brutal to have as teachers, some were absolutely amazing and went out of their way to ensure the students had a positive experience. The school playground is sized generously, and divided by (at least when I went there) age. There was I believe half the yard for students under grade 3 the rest of the yard for students grade 4+, and the older students were not allowed to mix with the younger ones at recess (this is a very positive choice). The office staff were great, but the administrative staff were absolutely abysmal, and hindered me in many times during my education there. My last memory was grade 8 with Mr. Gillen at the time. He was absolutely amazing, in every aspect. I heard he left the school a few years ago, Mr.Gillen if you're out there, I'd love to catch up sometime. Mr. John Gillen.

Two of my children learning at this facility for three years. Such a wonderful experience with the staff and fellow students. However since the beginning of the pandemic the schools approach, communication, and ability to emphasize with students and parents with learning methods drastically fell below even decent standards.
It has been a roller coaster of robotic and non logical behaviour from the staff. The fact that children’s mental health has been highly disregarded
The atrocious, ugly and belittling behaviour from the principal and superintendent. All of which is recorded via email and call.
When hearing that we were moving,
The fact that this school refused my children and made no effort to accommodate them to continue ONLINE learning to finish up the year despite the fact I was willing to keep them within a 7 minute proximity to the school! The fact that My children are currently waiting to be registered to a new school and my son was logged onto his classroom to finish any assignments that were not done, to our surprise his teacher just removed his classroom. What a complete joke these educators are.
It is sad when ego and pride takes precedence over a child’s education and well being.
